  3. Count us there, already noted and pinned on the notice board. Look forward to seeing you at you know where later this month if Shaun is out of hospital! Tracey aka Benny - Top Cat & Co
  4. When will the Welsh coins be ready for ordering. Sorry to say I would only like to order the Welsh coin but the English coin does look "smart" thanks
  5. Count us in, we are interested in the welsh coin. I'll be needing two if you can let me know how to reserve them. Will we be able to have our names on the coin, as were able to do so with the British coin! Benny Top Cat & Co.
  6. Words cannot explain how upset and mad I am feeling at this moment. Bruin 47 & Top Cat & Co placed 5 TB's in Bristol Airport Hotel in October for a race for the most miles within a year. As some of the South Wales cachers know Shaun (aka Choo Choo) has been very ill with Viral Meningitis and Epilepsy. He was taken ill again over the weekend, on my return from the hospital I received an email asking if I had a tipo error that the TB was not "Mike the Hike" but "Mike the Pike". I replied and sent a picture of our TB only to have a returned email with a picture of a Fishing weight with our TB tag attached. Not the hiker that was pictured on the TB site. I can't believe someone would steal such a thing. We decided on the race for something for all of us to look forward to, especially Shaun who has been feeling a bit low over the past few months. I know that any good cacher would not do such a thing, but I cant begin to understand why someone would want to nick a staute of a hiker. I just want to say thank you to the cachers who contact me about this and to the person who toke the staute (I hope is not a true cacher) how low can you get!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Whilst attending a recent geocache meeting in Cardiff, I was taken very ill with Viral Menigitis and multiple fits. While I was in hospital my wife recieved many kind emails asking about my condition and to wish me well I would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thankyou to everybody who helped look after me and to everyone who sent their warm wishes and words of encouragement to me while I was in Hospital, im getting back on my feet and looking forward to caching once again. I hope each and everyone of you have a Very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. Shaun (aka Choo Choo)
  8. Just incase im not around, I would like to wish everybody a very happy easter, Cheers
  9. Please could somebody give my TB, MIKE THE HIKE a helping hand, he is in a race with 4 other TB's to log as many miles in 1 year as possible. The problem is Mike The Hike has been stuck in Bristol Airport TB hotel for quite a while all the others are scattered all over the world, Please if anybody is going abroad for christmas, could I please come with you, Many Many thanks & a Merry Christmas To You All.
  10. Just a quick update on Shaun - he has been taken off the ventilator this morning and is slowly coming around. He is talk a little bit and only remembers talking to a tall man - that was Mr Blorenges and not finishing his curry!!! Will let you all know how he gets on. Many thanks again. Tracey aka Benny - Top Cat & Co
  11. You can count us in for a meeting in January, maybe this time we'll get to finish our food !!!!!!!!!!!! Just a quick update there is no change to Shaun's condition. The ICU staff have been great. We are just waiting to see what tomorrow will bring. Thanks Benny (aka Tracey)
  12. Just like to thank Write & Mane for last night, it was nice to finally meet them and other fellow Geocachers. I would also like to thank those of you who came to help me when Shaun was taken ill last night. He is currently being treated for Viral Meningitis and we are awaiting the results of one futher test to officially confirm this illness. He is currently in ICU (UHW) on a ventilator and his condition is stable. Once again thank you all for your help and kind wishes that I have read this evening. Tracey aka Benny - Top Cat & Co
  13. WE LOVE MARMITE!!! MARMITE ON TOAST, MARMITE & CUCUMBER ROLL, MARMITE DRINK AT BEDTIME, MARMITE CRISPS, BRING IT ON
  14. R.I.P UP & UNDER 1 I am posting this thread in memory of our very first cache, he was a lovely little ammo box, and was full of useful trades, whilst he was in the game he was visited 5 times and was liked very much, so much that he was left to look after 2TB's. Unfortunatly on his 6th day he was muggled and and was never to be seen again , we had the painful task of writting to the owners of the TB's to let them know that their game pieces had come to an unfortunate end , and was willing to replace their tag's to compinsate them for their loss. Now his bigger and better brother proudly takes his place in Geocaching history . If you or anyone you know have lost a cache micro or standard, please let your feelings known here.
  15. Im actually thinking about setting up a calling card cache, where you put your log in the book to say you have found it, and everyone must leave a calling card in the wallet. I think calling cards are a great idea, I have several different kinds
  16. I used mine whilst travelling to Cyprus, on Cyprus airways, when we boarded the air craft I asked if I could speak to the head steward and asked him if he could ask the Captain if I could track the flight , he was happy for me to use my GPS, he actually told me that he owns a GPSMAP60C. I tracked our flight at 2592.8 miles at an altitude of 23941 ft and a top speed of 651mph. If you are going to use you GPS on Cyprus Airways please ask first. We have alot of very good friends living in Cyprus and our hearts and thoughts go out to all thoes who lost loved ones in the recent air crash
  17. Quality item, put me down for 2. I will comfirm by email. Thanks for all your hard work
  18. I too feel the pain that a stolen cache leaves , our new cache lasted only 6 days before someone stole it, containing quality items, but worst of all 2 TB's , when a cache is taken it does not only affect one person, but many in the Geocaching family. Sending an Email to the owner of a stolen TB is like informing them of a missing family member, which is never a nice thing to do!!!
  19. Great new design, can't wait to get them, when will we be able to order them
  20. Does anybody know where I can buy Cammo bags to put my cache boxes in, and how much do they cost
  21. Im looking for a Neoprene case for my Garmin gpsmap 60, any help in getting one would be greatly recieved. I know that you can get them on Ebay from the U.S.A, but I want to know if you can get them in the uk
  22. CONGRATULATIONS to Bruin47 on reaching 100 finds, May you carry on hunting long and hard through rain, sun and snow.
