  1. As a log reader I totally agree, When i read a log saying "Finally after 2 DNF's I found it ..." I feel cheated if I can't read the DNF stories in the log history
  2. I'd like that, How do you download and categorise the caches? Some kind geocacher wrote a macro that you run in GSAK. The only thing you need to do is upload the files to TT. Fantastic thanks.
  3. I'd like that, How do you download and categorise the caches?
  4. Thanks guys n gals, I'll come back to this when I've decoded all the acroynms
  5. I can't really remember I just know i did it I had at least 2 files, found / not found, and they had a small blue treasure chest icon
  6. Why am i the only user here without a little english flag next to their username?
  7. Hi, some time ago (2 years) I downloaded loads of caches to my tom tom. I've since upgraded, and need to download them again, But I can't seem to find the right option. Last time I downloaded hundreds in one click (split into a file for found, and not found), The best I can find now is download 10 from a search page, in a .loc format. tom tom needs .ov2 I think. I'd love to download all the locations into the tom tom again, is it possible?
  8. Things looking good. It may be that the first cache is places with the local ranger. Any experienced plastic hiders want to volunteer to undertake this mission? Not something I'd like to do, having no experience. Nothing firm yet, but if you are interested in placing a cache in Billingham beck park, please let me know.
  9. Thanks, Good spotting, I missed that. (Sounds like my usual caching comment) I've e-mailed it off so now I guess just wait and see
  10. Thanks to all The place is here: http://www.stockton.gov.uk/citizenservices...idesites/BBVCP/ I don't see an agreement at present, so I've signed up to the GAGB forum, and when activated I'm going to request someone more experienced in such matters to attempt negotiations
  11. Hi When should I make a log as DNF? Does it have a special meaning? If I just go looking and don't find the cache after a poke around is a note more applicable? Does DNF signify I didn't find it, or something more serious, i.e. I looked for ages and I think it's missing. Thanks
  12. Hi Could someone point me in the direction of a thread giving details of placing caches. I have an area in mind, a park with some nature walks etc. They have a visitors centre, is it best to directly ask there? Thanks
