  1. Did you also select a point of origin (zip code, coordinates, cache waypoint) to center the query?
  2. You can also edit the name in your bookmark list to put the letter first: A = Traditional Cache Augusta Depot B = Traditional Cache Bridge Over River Kwai (Walnut) OR Augusta Depot (Traditional Cache) Bridge Over River Kwai (Walnut) (Traditional Cache) etc.
  3. How about "Mark as Completed"?
  4. The short answer: Skip EasyGPS. Hook up the Colorado (it will appear like an external drive). Drag & Drop the .gpx file into the GPX folder on the Colorado.
  5. My "child" is only about 115 miles south of me. I'll have to remember that next time I travel that way.
  6. The cache saturation guidelines do not apply to events. What he said. Or maybe she said
  7. A cache with 10 finds in 3 1/2 years is hardly representative of the typical situation. I don't think comparing this cache to caches you've found full of "junk" is valid.
  8. The cache saturation guidelines do not apply to events.
  9. So when I send to my GPS it will load them as single files? Not merged as one big file? It will become a single file. I didn't know you wanted them to stay separate files. I don't know of any way to transfer separate files to the explorist at the same time and keep them separate. Is there a reason you want each cache to be it's own file? Most people I thoght prefer to have multiple caches in one file to show on the map, etc.
  10. With geocache manager, open each file, sellecting "append to list" each time, then send to GPS as one file.
  11. I use the Magellan Geocache Manager. GSAK will do it, too.
  12. To get the full information (descriptions, etc) you need a .gpx file. The best way to get a bunch of caches is with a pocket query. You can also download the .gpx one by one from each cache page. Then just drop the .gpx files into the GPX folder on the Oregon. (That's how it works on the Colorado, and I think it works the same on the Oregon.)
  13. Pinned at the top of the "West and Southwest" forums you will find This Thread.
  14. No problem. I'm am glad it's not just me, though. With Wherigo being so new, it's hard to tell what errors are being caused by hardware, the cartidge itself, user error, or ??? I'm looking forward to heading back to your area (though not likely before next summer) to try again.
  15. I had updated to 2.6 shortly before the trip (unless for some reason it didn't take- wouldn't I have gotten an error?) Maybe we'll make it back there sometime to try it again. Thanks for checking. I've been meaning to try out the tutorial or a play anywhere just to check out the player on the unit.
  16. No offense, but I can't do anything with the information you posted. Which cartridges were these? Where did they crash? It would be very helpful to know. Okay, sorry. The first was Romeo and Juliet. Every time we arrived at the location for Act 1, the GPS would just shut down. We tried several times, went over to find a different cache (successfully), then came back to try again with the same result: shut down as we arrived at the Act 1 location. The second was Kirbys Tour of Wilder Ranch. I'm not sure if our problem here was the player or the cartridge itself. You are supposed to answer a question at each spot to move on to the next location. We couldn't get past the first spot as we could find no field to input an answer. From the cache logs, it looks like most, if not all, finders used the emulator. I'm not sure anyone has sucessfully done this one with a Colorado. (I'd post the GC#, but I can't get it right now as GC seems to be down again.)
  17. I tried 2 different cartridges last weekend after updating to 2.6. I couldn't complete either of them. One crashed and shut down the GPS at the same point every time. I hadn't played either of these before. I'm wondering if the player improvements could have caused problems for some Wherigo cartridges.
  18. I doubt they will "dump" the Colorado. To me, the Oregon looks like essentailly a Colorado with a touch screen.
  19. Look HERE for travel bug instructions.
  20. I use my printer preview options to scale before printing.
  21. There is, it's the little orange square just to the left of the topic title.

I don't use a 60CS, but I think I heard that it is possible to move a downloaded cache to a new location? Is it possible you accidentally relocated a couple of points?
