If my husband and I come upon a cache in ill repair we will try to repair it. I carry replacement ziplock baggies and log papers as well as some macro/small camo-ed bottles. Recently we came across what was supposed to be a cache but all that was left was a wet log in a torn ziplock hidden under some pine cones. We replaced the torn ziplock, added new dry log papers and since the cache was near a hospital the cache container was replaced with a medicine bottle, hidden at the exact co-ordinates as the original. We noted what we did in the online logs so the owner would know what had happened.

We finally fond that blasted March of The Penguins cache last night that had been eluding us.

From what I can see(I went after a of Bamboozle today) its a film canister hung in a tree by a coil of clothes hanger. Ive seen 2 such hides now and both labeled as bamboozles.

We thought bamboo had something to do with it because theres a tree there thats leaves look like bamboo. My husband and I have hunted that cache 3x and failed all 3.. I did email the owner to ask what he meant by it.

I shall have to PM the owner. and find out then. I have yet to find one hidden in this style *Shakes her fist at Hattiesbugr's March of the penguins* I will find you yet!!

A black widow spider, the other night and a huge orb spider with a web that was the most impressive Ive ever seen at over 6ft wide.

I've heard several cache styles described as a "Bamboozle style" hide. I have no clue what this means. Could anyone fill a newbie in on this and other hide style names? thanks.

My husband and I plus a friend were out at midnight the other night after an ammocan cache in downtown Hattiesburg. The cop slowly edged his car towards us and was watching but then we headed back to my van he drove off.

Oddest thing we have found so far has been an 8" piece of rebar. In another cache we found some *&^%@# had broken everything in it.
