  1. Thank you for clearing things, put much better than i could of explained glad some one knew what i was trying to put across,
  2. this is a very low resolution raster map. if you feel you have to use any kind of such map (including google maps) to verify the coords your GPSr gives you, then you need a better GPSr. as i said im new to this and really enjoy myself finding places that are on my door step that iv not seen, this gives me great pride knowing that some1 has taken the time to place a cache because just maybe the area has some meaning to them,my only and first point was the coords are not where the cache is! after my short time getting to know how this fun out door activity gets the family out y would a cache and dash(so say) be so wrong? the link i gave you is what uk reviewers use as i grid point and will ask you for permission if its on owned land, which il add that iv took weeks to get,if you feel google is better then tell the reviewers this! TY my Garmin has never let me down(only when the coords are off)
  3. try http://benchmarks.org.uk/magicmapit.php?c=...02%C2%B0+26.634 this is the very spot as used by uk reviewers
  4. cache listing N 51° 46.486 W 002° 26.650 were to find the cache N 51° 46.485 W 002° 26.634 not so bad
  5. lol i think maybe number 3, after you list it surly you should of seen the google map on the cache page and ? y its not were i hid it....
  6. the cache is next to the wall closet to the gz on the map,and yes were you park the gps says your 2ft out but went up to around 52ft were i found the cache, this is all fine with me as others have said no gps will be spot on,and with the hint i found it,i spos they took a reading were you park and left it up to searching for it,my inexperience shows as said by others "sneaky" Thank You all for the advice
  7. Oh ok so it is acceptable, thanks i now know to ignore the gps and use the clue on such cache's My suggestion to you is once you get to the gz put your gps away and start searching. Gps can only be so accurate. Thank you will keep that to mind, with magic map and other such sites i cant see how any1 could get it so far out,iv placed caches and always checked my gps zone on the map so its pretty spot on,but knowing this now im only learning so again thank you.
  8. Oh ok so it is acceptable, thanks i now know to ignore the gps and use the clue on such cache's
  9. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...5-c6ddb58dfdbf# or GC2FPVW its a traditional cache
  10. I am pretty new to this and really enjoy geocache hunting,But y would some place a cache so far away from the cords they listed? only the clue takes you to the cache surly when he looked at the spoiler map he would of seen it was way off,do plp do this alot? and if so y? whats the point of having a gps if it doesn't take you to the cache site,it was no fun just annoying!
  11. But can you take there cords and run a new cache without a review? as to adopt it without the old owener getting involved?
  12. on a cache hunt in middle of a wooded area i came across a small cave in my hope of finding some thing new a entered the small hole,to my horror after a short crawl was a car seat out of a 1967 ford cortian how and y would some one take the time to drag it in to the woods let alone in to a small cave?? but good came out of it as there was a single bat for me to enjoy maybe the dear was hung up and quartered???
  13. I think what Keehotee was trying to say was that you don't seem to understand the differnce between Premium Member caches and cache types that you haven't found (mysterys and multis) and maybe some more time cacheing would be a good thing. Only a Reveiwer can look at the map like you are asking, so it would probably be good for you to send your reveiwer a message. Or you can go find the mysteries and multi's in your area. And note all the physical coords so you can check your cache against that information. i fully understand the difference between Premium Member caches and member caches but he was saying mine was right on top of a pm cache which i then asked if a pm could take a look to see if there is a cache near it for me, but im sure if there was then the reviewer would of said so,im sure there isnt any next to it as suggested by Keehotee What??? I said no such thing! Sorry, I didn't try to put words into your mouth. I think I'm confused. More coffee. iv confused myself now lol Keehotee i did say sorry(look up) i need to delete this post lol

  16. if some would be kind enough to take a look at caches near mine that i cant see and let me know if iv put it to close Thanks
  17. sorry but if i cant see them i wouldnt know,il be upgrading very soon so hope im not stepping on any ones toes in mean time if i am then let me know were it is You should be able to find the multi's and mysteries in your area that aren't Premium Member caches. Your Reveiwer will let you know if you move it too close. but the suggestion was i (cant) see them there is a multi near in blaisdon with a msry but wouldnt think it was that one and cant see any others,
