I think it is kind of neat. I camp near one of my caches from time to time and would really love to meet this guy out in the sticks, late at night. We would have us a bully of a time.

Well of course you didn't tell them the truth. This is part of the reason that GPS reciever prices stay up there-Someone has to cover the cost of them fixing machines that just mysteriously "quit". People need to start taking responsibility for the actions.

I once left a controversial log on a local cache page. The owner of the cache had no problems with my log,(I asked him) and no one in my immediate area had a problem with it either. However, there was a geocacher over three hundred miles away who took great offense to said log. This guy was not looking for caches to do in this area, as he never came geocaching here. (or if he did he didn't find even one cache), so he must have just been looking to make a problem for somebody. I guess my point is that there are plenty of "trollers" who do nothing but look for stuff to gripe about. Keep your eyes open in here, you will see it yourself.

I take the old homelite chainsaw so's I can go straight to it. It makes some pretty interesting mazes in the forest when tree cover messes with my reception, so that is a plus too.

Go to a reputable bike shop, they will steer you in the right direction. tell them what you use it for. And don't worry too much when one of these guys in here tells you that he spends more than that for tires for his bike. He probably fills them up with his own special brand of balloon juice.

Who really cares? Is it hurting anyone? To each his own I say. If this guy feels good about telling a little fib in a game that does not matter one iota in the grand scheme of things, so what? It is not like we are going to win any big prizes for finding more than someone else, is it? People need to worry more about things that matter.
