I just started caching and decided to make my 1st cache and I did and put it in the park. I thought it was pretty good for mr 1st one, many others did as seen by their logs, but the other day i got a really bad one and I will post parts below and i got a e-mail saying how it was horrible, but I also got e-mails from other area caches that say what they said was wrong. What do you think, has this happened to you? this was on the log "ps...the container was TERRIBLE!" this was in the e-mail "First and most importantly: FIX YOUR CACHE PAGE!!! " , "The container was really bad!" "Also, there is no way this is a 3 on difficulty" I wont say who left these to be nice but it wouldnt be hard to find out also After i deleted the log There was another log from the same person saying i deleted it and that it was so bad.

I was on the story forum and was wondering what the terracache and navicache are and if they are related to geocaching.com. What is the deal with these and also do you play any other gps games.

2 easy ways to not get your cach blown up: 1) Hide it good put it somewhere only geocachers could find it - dont put right on the public trail where muggles can see it 2) lable it and yes i know this wont stop the bomb squad but it could stop muggles from calling it in

Ok I found this spot in norther wisconsin but is in a hunting spot owned by the deparptment of fish and wildlife and the deparptment of the interrior. Now I know the web site says no placing them on wild life reserves and/or reservations. But this is a public hunting hiking bird watching area that is called a BIRD PRODUCTION ZONE. now i dont know what that means any way i sent out an e-mail to the DOTI and will hopefully get a responce. What do you think about the placement and or the no placement on reserves.

I use a Garmin E-Trex basic yellow cheap one and it gets me through in geocaching. I was wondering how to place a cach with the same accuracy as a more expencive on. I head something about adveraging and what not. Also how accurate is your gps and what kind is it?

Does anyone know where I can find online maps that have cordinences on the side that i can use to get a list off the gc website of certain areas. Thanks

I want to know if there is a place online where i can look at a map of anywhere and it will have miniuts and seconds on the side so i can get a list of geocaches in the area. thank you please leave a link if possible

i dont know with the neighbors and if they might be concerned and think something is suspictious.

do you think there is a problem with a park being to small?? this park i want to place a cach has only 7 trees and has houses on one side and a road on the other but i have a great spot for a micro. I have permission from the park people to place it. I am just afraid it will bring trouble with the neighbors.
