I'm still saving for my first GPS,I'm thinking of the Garmin GPSMAP 60C or the GPSMAP 76C. The 76c has more memory a little more in price,I like the 60c with the bottons on the bottom. Is one of these any better then the other, is the reception about the same on these 2? I decided to save my money and get what I want.

I use 2 Energizer batteries in my digital camera with several spares that I can use in my GPS when I buy one.

There was a article in our local news paper about Geocaching,I cut it out of the paper and put it on the refrigerator. It wasn't till this year that I became a member and started spending time in the forums reading. I'm still saving for my first GPS unit,after I get it i'll get a premium membership. The Garmin GPS 60 is non maping,Garmin GPSMAP 60 is mapping. I hope to have one latter this summer. "geocaching navigation mode",If I remember right it is used to store your geo caches and manage them,as you find them you can mark found. I use dial-up with my computer,if I loose my connection why i'm in the forum I get logged off and have to log back in after I reconnect. But after reconnecting I notice that I'm still logged in to Geocaching.com Why the difference?

Are theses the same Secure Digital cards that are used in digital cameras?,and will these work in a Magellan?,with out buying a Magellan card. Terry
