  1. I am looking in to buying the garmin cd instead of the micro card only because I get all the US. I was wondering how many micro sd cards it would take to hold the USA topo cd's. I really only need the eastern part and the southwest. It would cost twice as much to buy the sd cards already loaded versus the USA on cd. I found the cd on Amazon for $73. Is the download complicated?
  2. I have a Delorme PN-20 with rechargeable battery and car charger, house charger, user manual, computer cable, Topo USA 7.0 with east west and central region and a 2gb sd card. Original box and carry bag also. The gps is in good shape, I bought it here on the forum but never used it. I have a Garmin Oregon and bought this for my daughter but she just didn't get into geocaching. $100 shipped to the lower 48. I can email pictures to anyone interested.
  3. I have a Delorme PN 20 I would let go for $100. I bought it here on the forum but never use it. I wanted it for my daughter but she just isn't interested. I have a Garmin Oregon that I use. I have several accessories with it too. I can send pictures if interested.
  4. I would check out something made by Garmin. Maybe a Legend or Vista.
  5. I bought two of them Tuesday and didn't know about the sale but they still gave me 25% off.
  6. There are a couple on the forum for sale for only $40. Shouldn't be too hard to come up with that.
  7. Can someone give me a quick tutorial on how to load PQ's over to my Oregon 200? It just doesn't seem to want to work. I have Garmin plug-in downloaded.
  8. Would this one work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=290299647109
  9. My daughter and I were looking for a cache today. I sent to gps and my numbers are: N 37 63.590 W 081 42.699. Now on the geocache website, the numbers are N 37 38.154 W 081 25.619. There are a few more I have checked that are way off too.
  10. OK, I am a premium member, I just use the send to GPS button. This has never happened before, only after I updated to the 2.95. It's also set at WGS 84.
  11. I am using the cord that came with the unit. I don't know about the datum setting. How do I check that?
  12. I have sent caches from geocaching.com to my oregon 200 recently. Today, me and my daughter were hunting a few and failed on both. When I got back home, I checked to logs to maybe find a little help. I also checked to cooridinates and they don't match. I have a different set of numbers than the ones that are listed on the cache description. I have no idea what is going on, anyone ever have this happen before? It also happened a few days ago. I was within five feet of the cache and still never found it. I got home and checked the cached log and yes, it had different numbers. They were about 100 yards different than what was sent over to my gps from the website.
  13. I tried to send a cache to my gps and my computer says "device not found". I have not tried this since I downloaded the beta 2.95. Is there something else I need to do in order to send caches to my gps?
  14. It was listed in KB, if I remember, around 2,600.
  15. I have a Garmin etrex legend and am having trouble installing metroguide usa on it. It is the 4.02 version. The gps says only 3% of the memory is used. I tried to load a section of southern West Virginia and it said that the map was too large for the unit. It was only about a three county area. Any suggestions??
  16. Try ebay, there are several on there.
  17. Yeah, what RRLover said, I saw the Delorme PN-20 for $132 at Walmart a few weeks ago. (Online walmart)
  18. Very cool Rick, thank you from an Air Force vet. Speaking of Okinawa, my dad was stationed there back in 1956. Probably changed a little huh?
