  1. As far as I know, the pre-programmed cards are only usable by the gpsr. The maps on them cannot be installed into basecamp or mapsource etc..
  2. Another vote for the Colorado. My 300 works great.
  3. I run a pocket query for the area I am planning on placing in, load it into my gps, and head out into the field. When I find a good spot, I check the gps for the nearest caches, if there is nothing too close, I hide my container and mark it. I always double check online before I submit, using methods already mentioned. As stated earlier this method won't help with multi's and puzzles either. The more caches you do in your area the easier you will be able to avoid those.
  4. Just ran webupdater on my Colorado 300. Two chipset updates were installed. Will be testing it out later tonight and while caching tomorrow.
  5. My favorite is MacGPS Pro, not free but worth the price. http://www.macgpspro.com
  6. I upgraded from a 60CSX to a Colorado 300. The Colorado is by far a better gps for geocaching, in my opinion. The paperless features and fieldnotes alone make it worthwhile to purchase over the 60 series.
  7. Nope, not possible. The 60 only shows the limited info. You could always store the rest of the info on a palm device or similar, if you want to be paperless.
  8. City Navigator North America NT 10
  9. You need to have your images hosted somewhere. Then reference them in the description using an html img tag; make sure to select the HTML box. At least that is how I do it.
