Garmin 60CS What about the Bike Mounting Bracket: I heard about very bad experiencies, is there a better one available than the original? Is there a possibility to use maps from 3rd party company?

I read in a german forum, that the Magellan Sportrak Pro is better than the Garmin 60 CS, because of its three axle compass and better GPS reception. I used a Garmin EMAP and had in the forest sometimes 300feet differences in the elevation precision.
