Sorry for another Laughing Bird thread so quickly............. I am wondering about night caching in the woods. This sounds like fun to me, but there aren't any near my area(at least that I have found) What I want to know is, most parks I have been to are closed after dark. Water Management parks, County parks etc. unless you are camping there. How do people get authorization to get in at night? Private land? Or are there a bunch of fence jumpers? Just curious. Thanks!

So, stupid me, I found some on sale camping multitools, snatched them up thinking of swag. I even (crudely) hand painted them with the Geocaching symbol. Then, it dawns on me, duh, no weapons. So, just want to clarify, these are a no-no right? Even though the blade is only about 2 inches long? Thanks!

Oh man. Other than beautiful sunsets, Florida doesn't have any amazing views like this. I think I need to move to a place that has an elevation higher than 80 FOSL.

Ok, so I have two DNF's very near my home. Both are missing, both have owners who have gone AWOL for, one for 5 months, one for over a year. What happens to these caches? I emailed the owners, offering to adopt the caches, but no response. How long does it normally take for a mod to archive them? If they never return, can I just adopt the cache or do I have to place a whole new one?

I play World of Warcraft. Those elf lands and their beautiful overgrown woods. What a gorgeous place to hide a cache. Is it bad that I am thinking- I could put a character out in the middle of the computer forest and trade like health potions or deviate delight and you could only log the find if you tell what color my hat is! Man, I am a nerd!
