I caught aitch-eee-double hockey sticks from my wife this weekend for "whizzin' in da woods" while geocaching. She did not want to take the dogs off trail where I was searching but got to wondering what was taking me so long so she decided to see what I was doing. When both dogs lifted their legs, I was wondering why they didn't get the same lambasting that I did I don't know about dem city girls

This has nothing with geocaching but goes with the subject at hand. During the 1991 Paris-Brest-Paris randonee', I was riding with a group of cyclists from the UK. We were in the middle of nowhere France and it was very, very early in the morning, like 2AM, when we decided to take a group whiz. As six or eight guys were standing on the side of the road with their 'tool' in their hands the only vehicle we had seen for hours pulls up and shines a spotlight on us. Yep, the local gendarmes. I think the cops were more embarrassed than we were. They just flashed the light off and said "Excuse'" and left in a hurry. I remember laughing so hard I almost fell in the group puddle off pee. I'll bet there was some good stories at the police station during the shift change.

It would appear that everyone is subject to 'a senior moment'.

Hi All, I received a Garmin etrex legend for my most recent b'day(the last one before 50) and yesterday, Easter, seem like a good day to try my hand at geocaching. I got the coords for one near my place and went hunting. This was a coin cache and I had a nice South African 5 Rand coin to place in it. Well, when I was within 100yds of the cache, I checked in my pocket and realized I left the coin in my truck. So, hoof back about a mile to my truck, get the coin, hoof a mile back to where I was when I didn't have the coin. I could not have been more than a minute from locating the cache when my other half calls me on my cellphone and tells me to 'shag my butt back home, we have to go to her mothers for Easter dinner'. Got alot of exercise, didn't find the cache but there is next weekend. Bikamper
