  1. In the continuing effort to reduce the number of geocoins I have collected, some more coins from my keepers list have been moved over to my traders list. They are for sale or trade. I am looking to reduce the numbers so if you are seeking a trade, I am looking more for the LE's or XLE's. I am willing to trade multiple coins on my list for these types of coins. If I trade three, four, or five coins for one, I am still accomplishing my goal Make me on offer on multiple coins. Thanks
  2. E-Mail sent requesting two each
  3. I received my NYGO coins in the mail today too. You have outdone yourself on the coin design! I have to agree with PaRacer, B-U-T-Ful
  4. There are some very nice .999 silver coins for Geocaching out there now. And as much as I love silver coins, $42 seems steep when you can get American Eagles for $22. In quantities of 300 I don't see a lot of collectable value in the coins. Just my opinion though. And I'm a collector of shiny things so I'll probably try to buy one anyway
  5. I was looking over a few geocoins this morning and noticed the Green Selective Availibility coin has the tracking number in different places. On three coins the tracking number is large and readable below the equator. On one of the coins, the tracking number is quite small and above the equator. I'm assuming the small one is the first version made. Does anyone know for sure?

  18. The ASP Geobash II 2007 is over. It was a great success and the turnout was tremendous. Everything we heard from the participants was very positive and they loved the event. At every opportunity when we heard this, we commented how generous and kind all of the donors were this year. Without the generosity of all who donated, events like this would be near impossible. The donor of each and every item was announced as the prize was awarded. In addition, each item included a paper that listed who donated the item(s). We wanted anyone who won a prize to know where that prize came from. We are just so thankful for the kind hearts that took the time and expense to donate. You truly made the event what it was. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts Mon@rch (on the right) and MickEMT holding our sincere Thank You. This sign was hung at Group Camp 5 and the area where the events and raffles were held. We are proud to display our Thanks.
  19. Awwww, too bad. No one guessed it Okay, okay, the number was 371. Not as high as we would have hoped but a very nice number and that means 371 very nice and friendly geocachers. The event was a blast and I hope everyone had at least half as good a time as I had. Thanks everyone for guessing. The winner is ....... Laval K-9 who guessed 363 Some of the stats are 127 Total guesses 33 Guesses below Laval K-9 93 Guess above Laval K-9 42 to 1580 was the range of guesses 5 Guesses above 1000 <- you go guys, we won't let you down next year
  20. My guess would be between 300-400. I didn't do the log-ins so I can't say for sure but it's an educated guess. Hopefully it will be higher
  21. Even thought the event has started and ended, I am sure it will take some time for people to get back home and log there visit. Unless they devised a different way to determine the number I am guessing it will be a day or two, merely a guess. And just for the hoot of it I say 410, and no I haven't even looked at the cache page Actually, the event isn't over until after breakfast tomorrow and a couple of people said they wouldn't make it until Sunday. After that, Mon@rch will go over the written log book, sort it all out and we will have a talley. The event didn't end until after 11 last night, it's still going tonight (I'm just pooped so I split early). The number will be announced just as soon as I have the final number we are giving to GC. But it was a great time!! More later and the winner as soon as I can possibly found the final number. Thanks for all who guessed and even more thanks to all who attended
  22. The Friday night kick off was fantastic. Maybe a little on the chilly side but it made for lots of people around the bonfire The soup and chili was excellent. Hats off to the food committee for a fantastic job. Today promises to be a great weather wise. It's going to start off cold, around 30. Brrrr, hope the bonfire is still going But then it should reach 67-75 Whooo Hooo. Well, off to the event. If you're sitting around doing nothing but yardwork within a couple of hours of the event, there is still time to pack up and come on down
