  1. What did I do wrong. I have been trying to get plucker to work on my xp computer. It will work about half way through its screen. The plucker locks up and says that it is not responding. I have uninstalled it and it does the same thing again. I tried it on my laptop with avista on it and it did the same thing. thanks Nick
  2. Hey Lazyboy you better be careful, Ralann will get a bunch of your caches archived. I think he is the new goecop of Klamath County. He is one reason I quit caching.
  3. M-55 I just entered the golden age. You know why they call it the golden age????? Because you pee all over yourself.....
  4. It is this sort of BS is the reason that I put out 2 caches. KMA and I'm ready to quit. Sometimes putting out caches is like playing ball with a rich kid. You play by my rules or you can't play and I will change the rules as I play. If you don't like it I will take my ball and go home. Some people like rest stop caches for a reason. It is called rest. daaaaah. Too bad all the caches can't be 100 miles apart and having a rating of 5/5.
  5. Look Ma, a whole herd of ***-kissers. I need to start putting chap stick in my caches.
  6. Thank you for your reply. I live about 150 from Bend. I come up to Bend about 3X's a year. I have been feeling guilty because I haven't put out any caches in the Bend area. Now you say I don't have to because it is to far for me to visit on a regular basis. Thanks again, see you next spring.
  7. My guestion was what if you are not sure where you are going. That is normal for me. You are 100 miles from home and you decide to put out a cache. Any way to tell where to put one out at???
  8. I recently drove 110 miles and put out a cache in a little park in Grants Pass. It is a small park. 250'X250'. After I got back home, my cache was archived by Seth. Said it was to close to the other cache. My guestion is, how do you tell if there is another cache near. How do you know if the cache that was there last year is archived. K.M.A.
  9. I have personaly met you at pixxa in Klamath Falls. I love you, man. You are my hero!!!
  10. I wish that everyone would do that. It would help alot.
  11. When two different Geocachers go out together and one of them puts out a cache, is it ok for the other one to presign the cache log. Then go and log it on the internet as a first find. It happens regular around here. When you get to the cache thinking you are going to be the first finder, you read the cache log and you are third. The cache hidders freinds have already signed it. I think the freind should sign the 3rd or 4th page of the log book and wait to log it on the internet untill real first finders find it. What do you think?
  12. One thing I use a compass for is when you get close to the cache, I lay my gps down where I can find it again. After it sits for a while it will tell you the bearing to the cache. In stead of picking up the gps to see which way it is, I do it will the compass.

  14. What is the problem with getting a cache approved? It has been almost 40 hours since I sent it in. I have 2 new caches waiting to be approved. Never took this long before.
  15. Look on Ebay. I bought a charger and 8 AA batteries for $10. The batteries came charged. They last almost as long as good batteries do. The charger shuts off when do.
  16. I have always been hooked on geocaching. I just didn't know it. I love the woods and being outside. It only took the first cache and 5 months later we have 315 cache finds. I think I need caching rehab.
  17. Have you ever printed a cache site and when you looked for the cache it wasn't there? You go back home and check the cache listing and it has been edited or moved.I would like to get an edit or archived notification on a daily bases like you get for a new cache. I know someone is going to say "check them before you leave". If the coordinates have been changed just a little, it is hard to notice it. One other problem I have is when I find a travel bug. I don't know if it is coming or going. It would be nice to list the starting of the travel bug and where you want it to go. We have one here in Klamath Falls, Or that has went over 300 miles and still where it started.

  19. If you are sure you want someone to put out a cache for you, email me at www.geocaching. I will be glad to do it for you. There is over 700 caches within 100miles of here. Lots of geo action.
  20. Not everyone is able to climb the tallest mountain and swim the deepest sea. Some people are stuck to flat ground and to close caches. GeoCaching is suppossed to be for everyone. You don't have to use your MapQuest to track a cache site. Try it, it is a lot harder.
  21. I have seen used a brass colored plate with the cordinates stamped into it. When this is screwed into the bottom of a tree, it looks offical.
