  1. I just bought one & it cost me 299....it's for sale a few posts down, but I can't touch those prices, nor do I think you'll find a new (non-refurbished) one for that kind of money now. It makes me wonder if Cabelas had refurbished units they were selling here's mine for sale
  2. Thanks for the link & the help, but I'm on a (non-intel) Mac.
  3. If you use EasyGPS you can set it up so it sends the name of the cache and the hint if there is one. I have been through what seems like every option on the 60, and I don't recall seeing easy gps. Is it on the unit, or is this an app or something?
  4. Would you consider a trade for a brand new gpsmap 60 csx & some cash? could you pm me your answer/price please? Thanks, Jeff
  5. I just bought this new on eBay and realized it does not have all the features for "paperless" caching that my Dakota does. I got it on Monday, so I've had it about a day. Comes with everything in the box, and a 1 gig micro sd. This is a new, NOT a refurbished unit. 265 TYD paypal only please. Just trying to get some of my money back so I can get something else....would consider trades for Colorado in like condition, or ? Garmin GPSMAP 60 CSx
  6. Thanks for the info.....just wish I had known that beforehand. I had considered the Colorado, but decided against it because it was discontinued. I guess I'll be selling the 60.
  7. I just got into geocaching and bought a Dakota 10. While it seems to be a descent little unit, I found it a bit small for me as a touch screen, and it lacks the options in the OS that my old Legend CX had. So I did a little research & decided I'd get a GPSMap60CSx. I'm finding that after I send the geocaches to the unit they just come up as waypoint numbers rather than names, and there is no info on the caches like there is on the Dakota. Am I missing something or is that just the way the 60 CSx works with geocaching? If it is I think I'll be going back to the Dakota.
