  1. Must be nice to live in an area that has so many numbers trails that chances are 50/50 that if you randomly check out road signs that you will find a cache. These things take up a lot of space that could be used for more creative caches.
  2. Any of you regular members have any stories about stumbling on members only cache.
  3. Or you could read post #3 of this thread... Yes that will work....Thanks
  4. Go to a cache near this one, and click on "Find ... all nearby caches". It should be on the list. Thanks for helping the NOOB!
  5. I didn't see the GC # at first glance..It must be a premium since it doesn't show up on my reg. member map. I'll go back and examine the contents again...Thanks
  6. While eating lunch at a local fast food parking lot I noticed some people in the Park n Ride lot next door searching the plastic fence post..Well they finally find a loose post cap and remove an item, carry it to their car, and return it minutes later. Huuuummm...drug drop perhaps? So I had to go check it out after they left. Turns out it is a Premium Travel hotel...I don't suppose there is any way a regular member can log a find on a premium cache?..of course other than the obvious ...Become a Premium Member!
  7. Yep...twice...both times they were right behind me as I was getting my bearings on the gps....I told them both that unless they were fellow geocachers that they had better get out of my space...The first one asked what is geocaching...I told him...he looked disappointed....and left the area. The other one just kept staring at me...so I told him what I thought he should go do and I left the area.
  8. I love park hides because they are usually more interesting than most of the usual hides around here. I like the exercise you get from hiking in and the nice scenery. What I don't like is having some weirdo who sees you go off the trail, follow you in to the forest assuming you are there for some "muggle" action. I say live and let live most of the time but I wish these people would stay out of the public parks.
  9. I don't have a problem with site owners not checking up on every single dnf entry....but multiple dnfs are annoying....full and or wet logs are another issue....I don't mind supplying a new log.. but if they keep getting wet should I supply a new container?
  10. As a new Geocaching member, I have found that many site owners ignore multiple dnf postings and site problems..example..full or wet logs...If the cache is missing shouldn't it be archived? I don't like wasting my time looking for something that isn't there...If you have lost interest in your site...pass it on to a owner who cares!!!! Deacdiddy
  11. Signing of the actual log sheet is the only true proof that you actually took the time to make the find....
