I'm so oblivious when it comes to technology. I really can't figure out how to get caches along a route INTO my GPS. Would anybody be kindly willing to explain the process in 6 year old terms for me? I have a MAC and an Oregon 450 if that makes any difference. Thanks in Advance!

ALSO... I have a MAC, so MAC compatibility is a MUST. We're running OS 10.6 on a dual core iMac. Thanks for your help and suggestions thus far. I really appreciate getting experienced information.

I'm not sure about it because it's an older model, and the reason it's for sale is because it's being discontinued. But my price range is $250 max. The other model I was looking at is the magellan explorist GC.

Taking the trash out was almost as fun as finding caches. It's like it's own little treasure hunt....until we got to a more popular dumping area....then it just got sad. Glad we CITOed though. I feel good about that.

What's your best advice for Newbies on how to avoid muggles? I went on my first hunt yesterday, and had a blast. Found one cache before it got dark and had to go home. But I noticed I was very wary of muggles and was nervous that they would ask what I was doing or think I look suspicious. So how does one search for caches without looking like a creepy stalker? What do you tell people if they ask what you're doing/looking for? I'm in the city, so there's naturally more people around.
