  1. Thanks for reporting that the "Find date" filter is showing up on the search filters and the "Placed date" on the map filters. I have notified the engineering team working on this and they will be correcting this soon. Sorry for the confusion.
  2. This issue should now be resolved. It was a short hiccup with one of our releases.
  3. Thanks for this report. We have notified the engineers. They are hoping for a solution early next week.
  4. In cases like this, we recommend you log into the Adventure Lab® builder with your Geocaching.com account, to check if we have given you a credit and perhaps the email didn't arrive properly. In your case, we provided you a credit a year ago. You can follow the steps on how to create an Adventure Lab from this Help Center article: https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=143&pgid=950 I hope that helps!
  5. Thanks for the report. We have notified the mobile team and will do further investigation.
  6. The website and apps are having technical difficulties. We recommend you try again in 30 minutes or so. The engineers are actively working on it.
  7. Geocaching.com is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Our engineers are working on it. Thank you for your patience.
  8. This is great news! The Android team put out a fix recently. We are glad to hear it is working for you.
  9. The new dashboard has an Events widget on the upper right side. You can set the default up to 100 miles away and also see a list of the Events, by following the "Search events" link at the bottom of the Events widget.
  10. Thank you for all the repro steps! With the help of everyone in this thread we were able to put together repro steps to report to the engineering team (and we see that tricky work-around). We will try to get this fixed soon.
  11. This is unrelated. We are experiencing a short outage. We try to notify the community when this happens on Twitter: https://twitter.com/GoGeocaching
  12. This issue should now be resolved. To see the Lists again, you may need to do a hard refresh - hold down Ctrl and press F5.
  13. Thank you for reporting this. We will notify the engineering team.
  14. The engineers made some improvements to the Trails Maps with the 8.49 update to iOS. You can update from the App Store. We hope it helps!
  15. The “newest” is sorted by Placed Date. In the newly published examples for my area, the cache owner had a Placed Date several days earlier than the publish. So they would be on the list, just further down.
  16. I checked with the staff and discovered that we have been keeping this List of Geocaches of the Week updated. Occasionally, we will highlight a geocache that has already been written about before. So that's why the numbers may not be going up as quickly as you would expect.
  17. Thank you for your patience as we identified and resolved this issue. It is now fixed.
  18. We are happy to hear that you appreciate the List of Geocaches of the Week. I will see if I can find a staff member interested in updating the List! (be patient as this may take time)
  19. Yes we are aware of this additional annoyance. However, since it doesn't prevent a user from using the feature, it is lower on the list of bugs to fix.
  20. This issue with Pocket queries should now be resolved.
  21. We are aware of the problem with mapping Pocket queries, and are hoping for a fix soon. In the meantime, here is a workaround (please don't shoot the messenger, I'm just trying to be helpful!): You can create a List from a Pocket query, by using the Geocaching® app: Generate a Pocket query (clicking today’s day of the week) and wait for it to generate Open Geocaching® app Go to Lists in app. PQ will show in app for 7 days (indefinitely if you download as an offline List). The PQs show up as “Last Generated” rather than “Last Modified”. Select the PQ/List in the app and map it From the map, select “Add all to List” (on iOS, you can get to this from the “...” in the upper right). Enter a new name for your List of the PQ (so you can distinguish between the two). Now return to Lists on Geocaching.com and you will see your PQ as a List. You can map from there. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to get this issue resolved soon.
  22. As reported in the other thread, we notified the engineers. It will be prioritized for fixing as soon as possible.
  23. Thanks for the reports the Lists is still giving a 502 Bad Gateway error. I have notified the engineers.
