  1. We are living in Georgia, but I must say that my best caching experiences, by far, are those I had while caching in CO. Nothing tops the scenery and hiking is phenomenal! Luckily, we have family living in Colorado Springs, so we can head to the Rockies at least once a year! So if you live in CO and are able to cache the mountains often, DON'T TAKE IT FOR GRANTED!!!
  2. Thanks a lot! I'll definitely do that. It's frustrating when I find a cache with the expectation of finding a TB and see that it is no longer there.
  3. One of my favorite aspects of geocaching is moving TB's. But so many times when we visit a cache that advertises a TB, someone has grabbed it without logging it. Is there a way that I can log a TB as missing after I have verified that the TB is not there? Thanks!
  4. I believe I have it fixed. I just deleted the logs and grabbed the tb from the cache it is currently in, then dropped it in the cache we dropped it in originally. Then I picked it up and dropped it in the cache that it should be in now. Thankfully it's still in its second location, so I could edit info somewhat painlessly. Here is a link to the TB: http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.as...fa-2d683611c3bb Thanks!
  5. I dropped a travel bug in a cache, but before I got the opportunity to log it, someone grabbed it from me. Now the tb has traveled a good distance but it is showing zero. Is there anyway I can edit this? Thanks!
  6. Since I am interested in history, I would like to set up virtual cache on here. How can I do this? When I try to set up a new cache, virtual isn't an option. Thanks!
  7. It hasn't acted up on me the past few times out. I will try what you suggest to see if it help. Thanks!
  8. I bought my first GPS a few days ago and it freezes up on me a lot. It seems to only happen in compass mode. When I am walking to a location while in compass mode, and hit another button on the device, such as notes, it freezes up on me. I have to turn off and turn it back on several times while hunting. I didn't know if this is common for all GPS systems, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
