can the track color be set to different colors in different profiles, when I try to set it up in geocaching to yellow, then change profiles maybe to automotive and set the track color to green, i go back to geocaching and it is green, etrex 30 thanks in advance

I am kind of having the same problem with my etrex30 when I first turn it on all the profiles are there, if I click on “recreation” and then want to change profiles it is a blank blue screen with “current profile is” at the top. if I shut down, and turn it back on they are all there and I can again choose, but again, I am not able to change

I also have taken my gps on flights, I would get a window, it is really neat to see it going 400-500 mph, and when the plane begins starts dropping altitude, it drops so fast....never a problem

Thanks Jamie, it did sit on the balcony table for quite some time and still could not locate us. there was also a button that asked if we had traveled a long distance I then put my pointer near our location, still could not find us. I will give it lots of time this time....

my Quest has been great until I went to Alaska, had all my maps loaded, was in flight to Vancouver, was fine on flight, but could never locate us when on ship and maybe once on land, any idea what may have been going on.?? seems to working fine here at home, but I am leaving for Cancun next week and wanted to find a few caches.

I picked up a jeep travel bug, it it ok to put it in a cache that I have already found and thought to be a bit challenging and has not been very active for awhile just to get some action to it??

While out caching today, I came across a letterbox, and in the baggy with the log book was one of those small maybe charcoal filled things in the bag, they sometimes come with new shoes or other things that we have purchased and are in the bottom of the box. the paper and such in the bag were really dry feeling so maybe these do help.

I would love to be the recipient of your Team FISUR Coin (October 2002 – May 2005) I am pretty new to this addiction and I am not going to be seeking geocaching anonymous, We are not having the best of weather here in Michigan and I it makes it difficult to go out caching, this would be the ultimate fix for me. I have done the leaf and stick method. I was checking the computer and found a brand new cache in the area, I jumped in my car and headed to the site. I was the first to find the cache and it was my FTF I was not going to leave without signing that log book ....

I am pretty new to this and have about 50 cache locations listed, mostly found but others that I will be hunting for soon. Do most of you keep your finds on your gps or delete them?

I am pretty new to this and I figure I won't find alot of these in the hunts. I notice alot of the coins are sold out, do states issue new coins every couple of years or so??

recently purchased a Garmin Quest with city select, just wondered why I type in an address of 2855 29th St SE.....it comes back with two addresses of 2799 29st SE and 2399 29st SE, I am sure they are close but why can it not pinpoint it? Same results with Mapsource when done on computer. Is that pretty normal??
