  1. Well here in Indiana we are having what they call the 100 year flood. This last Saturday was the Introduction to Geocaching Event at McCloud . We recieved several inches of rain in less then an hour and flooding was horrible. It took me an hour to go 20 miles. But one set of cachers made it their in a Mini Cooper and another in a VW. I was glad I was in my truck. I am the guy in the black shirt second from the left. As you can see the river had flooded everything. None of the caches in the park survived. But we all still had fun.
  2. "E 696.4mi from your home coordinates " Hmmmmm....Don't think I can do that and make my niece's graduation party. Oh well, i will sit next to the pond and wish!
  3. I have no clue how I missed this thread. These are the one of the greatest coins I have ever saw. Of course I am biased since I have 3 koi ponds. The biggest is 3800 gallons. I cannot afford having a geocoin made right now so I am doing a pathtag- RSFish1 Pathtag I will post some of my koi pics later on. But from my littlelest koi Bandit to the big boy Hercules, thanks for putting out this awesome coin!
  4. I noticed they have at least one other geocoin listed as sold out also that isn't. As a seller on Ebay, this alos makes me mad when people mis-represent like this. Some coins sell out and then come back in to stock and that can be missed. But obviously neither of these coins have ever been out of stock.
  5. OK. I never expected the response that I have gotten today and tonight. I was hoping to make a decision tonight and I can't. I got way too many awesome offers of coins that I really want. I am sorry to say I need another night or 2 to figure it out. Sorry for the delay to those wanting a trade. Trade made with OshnDoc! Thanks!

  7. If anyone is still looking for one of the 2008 Green Earth turtles, let me know. I have an extra for trade. PM or email me through my profile.
  8. Hi winwin56, As a seller on that place and avid collector myself, I just wanted to give you a couple pieces of advise. Like any purchase you make on Ebay, check out the person's history and see what people have to say about them. Their past is always a good indication of their future. Make sure the auction states whether the coin is unactivated or not. Don't be afrraid to ask them before buying. And last, but not least. when you recieve the coin, try to retrieve the activation code and/or see if it is unactivated on gc.com. If it is activated and should not be, contact the buyer. If they do not offer to make it right, then file a claim through Paypal. But there are times when a seller does accidentally send the wrong coin, although it is very rare from what I have seen. Hope this helps! Now lock your wallet before it gets out of hand...
  9. Lara, Just for the record- Dictionary: obsessed (əb-sĕss'ed-) Adj. Compulsive preoccupation with a fixed idea (Tranquility geocoins) or an unwanted feeling or emotion, often accompanied by symptoms of anxiety. (Finding and possessing all Tranquility geocoins) I just couldn't resist! You should have ran while you had a chance when you first started thinking about collecting geocoins!
  10. I got my 3 frogs in yesterday and I was very impressed!!! These little guys are absolutely adorable. Makes me wish I had ordered more! Thanks for the great coins!!!
  11. I got mine yesterday. These are truly unique and very nice. There are many times when I believe a more "basic" looking geocoin without all the glitter and glitz can look better then others. This one has a nice raw, "working man's" feel to it. Now to see if it floats tonight. All I have to do is throw it in my back yard with all the rain we have had!!
  12. Those are my sig items I leave in caches. Anything to do with water and fish I love. And I couldn't think of a better person to send the Tatanka to!!!
  13. A friend of mine just got one of these a month or so ago. And man is that GPSr sweet! Now he's mad he did not wait so at least he had a chance at the coin. But after seeing his, my 60CSX seems pretty inferior.
  14. According to their website they have went caching for a week of the 14th-22nd and will not be available to ship. Maybe they took off early. So that explains the silence.
  15. You're looking for the XLE from last year? The one that was sold at CoinFest? Going off the top of my head cause I don't feel like digging through binders - I believe it's polished nickel with polished gold relief. The only dual tone standard release in 2007 was antquie silver with antique bronze relief, but was sold as antique silver. My spare XLE is right here. It's polished nickel, w/ polished golf relief, both sides. The antique silver (also sitting here) is silver on the CR side, and the wheel only is polished gold on the back. I have also noticed that the Compass Rose page lists and shows a picture of a polished gold on front and back with only a polished nickel wheel, but I have never seen anyone selling or trading this combination of colors. SSSOOOO.....TMA, what will it take to get you to give up that extra XLE polished gold and polished nickel?? Trust me. Whatever TMA wants, it's worth it. I just got mine and it is by far the best looking one from 2007. Wow, congratulations on getting this coin. I have been wanting this coin since I bought my first 2007 Compass Rose in black nickel on Ebay last year. I have not been able to find anyone trading one. I sent TMA an email and I have my fingers crossed I actually just finished my collection so I now have all of them from 2005-2008 Yime. It cost me dearly, but I wanted to get the whole series.
  16. My favorite Mother's Day story will not happen until tomorrow. My brother has terminal cancer and was diagnosed last June 11th and was given 3 or so months to live. Tomorrow is 11 months and my mom will still have both her sons for Mother's Day. Just to be able to see that tomorrow will make it the best Mother's Day ever. Happy Mother's Day to all moms out there. Us son's can be a real pain sometimes. But you always put up with us and love us just the same!

  18. I am also seeking any geocoins with Koi. I am a huge koi person. I have a 3500 gallon pond and another smaller 400 gallon pond in my front yard. They give me so much joy and relaxation. Some people think fish are boring. You can't pet them or play with them. But after a long day at work, it is so rewarding to see them come "running" across the pond to see me. The soothing sounds of the fountain and their eagerness is so relaxing. And even though I can't pull them out of the water and pet them, they will come up in to my hands and eat from them or let me cradle them. Any way, you can see my passion...LOL I am looking for the Japan 2006 and Saffier & Stekelsteef coins for sure. Any coin with a coin is welcome! I have the Legm. I have a few coins in my traders list. Thanks to anyone that can help out!!!
  19. Congrats! It's a great feeling to do that. I recently gave away 7 coins at a CITO event I hosted and one was one of the 4 Spirit Pottery coins. The guy that won it loved it.
  20. It's the other way around: the antique silver CR has the wheel in polished gold. I was going off of the Compss Rose page 2007 Compass Rose . Or is this just a mistake on this page?
  21. I am looking for the 2007 Compass Rose in polished gold with polished nickel wheel. I do not see this listed on geocoincollection.com but understand it was one of the standard compass rose geocoins produced. I have a few cool coins to trade.
  22. and By my count, that totals up to 250 + (50 * 3) + (50 * 2) + 100 = 600 coins total for the Digital Hell design. So, good news for those of you state-side residents who missed out on overpaying for shipping from overseas, you get another shot at the new editions of these coins. I agree whole heartedly. What was advertised and what is being done are 2 different things. This was discussed very recently in another thread. IMO if Sepp and Berta need to look at what is happening on this coin and look at how it was advertised and make sure they follow what they advertise in the future. Maybe I can understand the other finishes. But making more of the same finish/color combo is not what was advertised. And maybe this is off subject, but did anyone else notice they added something like a 3.5% Paypal charge this time also?
  23. Will these have their own unique icon?
