  1. Having a) just returned to caching after a little break and acquired a new laptop as the old one broke I have managed to re-setup my GSAK. I have re-installed my MMap BUT for the life of me, cannot understand/re-install the macro/script/custom icons etc to export to MMap from GSAK. I tried to read through the thread but got lost. Can anyone give this 'newbie' an idiots guide? I believe the original scripts etc were by roolku and Edgemaster. I still have to sort out TT custom export icons to PPC from GSAK too, but one thing at a time.
  2. As far as I am aware, No1. This is partly due to the software GC use when saving your HTML code to their pages. Also something in the guidelines(?) about linking to external sites etc. Not sure of the details though. No help really. Sorry.
  3. You may be from Yorkshire and living in Essex but you can't be all bad if you stick CSP in your profile! Well? Good luck on your first hide BTW.
  4. Try Xtraction (GC14VQQ) WITHOUT any PAF's or hints. It has some great ideas, bit of math and a good hide!
  5. I must admit that I have set at least ONE cache where a seeker has to find "one particular grave that isn't of any intrinsic interest". Why? Simply because it's not an easy one to find and that's part of the cache make-up! Otherwise, a bit OT, I have no problems with parts of caches being in graveyards but I do appreciate that it's not everyones cup of tea!
  6. I was talking about this sort of thing at an event do on Saturday. I, however, would substitute "nice people" with "some characters" LOL! I'm sure Bob Smith and Old Nick Cov know what I mean. (No offence meant!!)
  7. Where's the HUGE warning re a spoiler in the video then? I was looking forward to going down to do this one and now I know where it is.
  8. Bearing in mind your past efforts, ideally:- A POSTMAN. LOL!
  9. This, I must admit, is what I don't like with some puzzle, ooops, I mean elzzep, caches. When I see them, I ignore them. Once I had the keyword and the online program to decrypt the repeated letter blocks and I still couldn't get the thing to decrypt properly. Even when I "acquired" the decrypted text and reversed the process, it wouldn't work. So I gave up. Puzzle caches that tell you what they want you to do and then you (try and) do them are much better.
  10. Now I have a problem with forum posts. What's an Elzzep cache? Puzzle spelt backwards (and miss-spelt) I figured out what was meant, maybe thats why I like some puzzle caches! G K&G, I am so sorry. That response was sarcasm on a fantastic scale! I don't think the OP meant to speel it rong. (bet they'll come back and say they did. Ho hum) Hence the smiley..
  11. Now I have a problem with forum posts. What's an Elzzep cache?
  12. Personally, I think this would cause more problems than not! The Guidelines do actually state that cache setter should ensure that the cache box is in place before publication. This would then circumvent unnecessary trips by any cacher, finding (or not finding) a non existent box.
  13. Risk assessment sounds so formal. I suggest that EVERYONE does a risk assessment for every activity they undergo. The fact is they either do not class it as such or indeed call it one i.e. You go to do a cache and you see it's on the otherside of the ditch so you jump it, retrieve, sign the log, put it back and go on to the next. A dynamic risk assement was made during this process and the "cacher" decided to continue. There were no signs, level ground etc. It's an everyday thing. We make these assessments all the time, every day of the week, 24/7/365. It's life.
  14. Mandatory? - No! Optional? - Of course. Let's not dictate what people should or shouldn't do. Leads to many other complications.
  15. Does it not work like Firefox where you hover over the tab with the mouse cursor and the full title appears - as if by magic!?
  16. I would like to thank SP for providing the clicky links - Thanks!
  17. FYI you don't actually need the "/" in </br>.
