Do we say thank you enough?
The Royles replied to FollowMeChaps's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Can I be the first to disagree so that the thread has a bit of conflict Seriously though, if you check out the forums from the rest of the world and see some of the problems people have with mods and reviewers, you will see just how lucky we are. Thanks for caring chaps. -
Try This Link from the nice people at GAGB

I recognise that It isn't actually the bug image. Just the closest I could come up with in PSP.

As its nearing Christmas, how about doing a panto? GeoBabes in the wood (looking for a cache) may be appropriate
-

I thought that a byte was a collection of bits, so you can have 8-bit bytes, 16-bit bytes etc -

Well done Gary and Margaret. We are sad that you are going home, and even sadder that we cant make it to your leaving do. Good luck to you both. See ya...Gary Andy and Heather -
GC.com would probably not want to be the listed owner of the caches, as they would be liable if there was ever an issue. You should also remember that GC.com is just a listing service, which is why - IMHO - they do not feel they are able to do forced adoptions or sanction clean up operations. What we need is someone posting a list of caches that have been archived, so that people could make a PERSONAL decision to go and clean up the cache site. I know that if there was one local to me that appeared abandoned I would go and ensure that there is no "remains" of the cache left at the site. Is this something GCUK could take on ? perhaps a post on their forums is needed.

Caches up for adoption, West Yorkshire Area
The Royles replied to rutson's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Does the cache owner have to be the one who does the maintenance ? I would have thought that the people who are prepared to adopt Rutsons caches would be prepared to leave them in Rutsons name , and just help maintain them as and when it is needed. Given Rutsons standing in the community, I am sure he will have plenty of people willing to "co-manage" his caches in this way, so he can continue to set his caches safe in the knowledge that maintenance is only an email away. edit to say: I didnt read the above 2 posts fully, they say the same thing as I mean. -
RIP Quest for the Ring of Power
The Royles replied to lordelph's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Hopefully Golem will bring it back from the dead For now though, farewell to an epic cache. -
Try refreshing the page, you are probably seeing the page that your browser has cached.

Any interests in a easter camp 2007
The Royles replied to Globetrotter.uk's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
We are interested, what help do you specifically need ? Cache Hoppers can look after wine. Phillimores can do tent stabilising. I can entertain the kids. LE will film the chaos.
