  1. After the problem was gone for a couple of months, it recently showed up again Today I went into Android-settings-->Apps-->Geocaching. Then selected Storage. I cleared the cache, but this didn't solve the problem. Then I went back to (Android-settings-->Apps-->Geocaching) Storage, and this time I cleared the Data. I then had to re-login into the app again (the app has lost all settings, username/password and so on). ... but for now, the new souvenir notification is gone Possibly this also works for others. Let's see for how long this 'workaround' solves the problem... fingers crossed
  2. I also had this problem several months ago. If I recall correctly, I fixed it by scrolling the souvenir list all the way to the bottom of the list. It was my impression at the time that by doing this, I kind of marked all souvenirs as 'seen', and that caused the "new" souvenir yellow dot to disappear.
  3. I can understand and accept that for security reasons, there may need to be limitations to what is allowed in a profile. At the same time I believe that there may be solutions possible that solve the security concerns and still allow a good profile page experience.
  4. I'm very unhappy with this change, and the way it is communicated The profile pages are a part of the geocaching experience, where geocachers express and show what they achieved and experienced with geocaching. Some people spent a lot of time setting up a structured profile page, and/or developing tools for others to do so. And this change just breaks that, without proper communication to the geocachers, your customers! You sent out regular newsletters about e.g. Souvenir challenges and memorable caches. But when you plan to break the profile page functionality, you don't feel it is necessary to communicate it to the users. It feels like you either intentionally try to break the profile page functionality, or that you just don't care about the impact on your customers. Not happy
  5. On the Premium Membership Promotion page (http://www.geocaching.com/premium/default.aspx), you advertise with: "$10 for 3 months or $30 for 1 year". If I set the language of this page to another language, for example Deutsch (German), Français (French) or Nederlands (Dutch), I still get the offer "$10 for 3 months or $30 for 1 year" - translated into the local language - but still in USD. However if you then click on the link (https://payments.geocaching.com/) on that page to actually become Premium member, the price suddenly (but without explicit notification changes to EUR 29.99 for 1 Year of EUR 9.99 for 3 Month. This may not be intentional, but I find this misleading. If you do have different prices for different countries, please advertise the appropriate price the customer is going to pay.
