  1. I'd be interested. I haven't been to an AquaSox game in ages. And welcome to the madness.
  2. I'm in for 10 to 15 cans. If there are cans too damaged for use as caches I'd be willing to take some of those as well.
  3. I remember tromping through a very dark and foggy morning in a Bellingham cemetary once. I remember scrambling down and over rocks at dark-thirty in the morning in Wenatchee.
  4. 1 of 3 (or 4) CITO events in WA. 48 North CITO 2007
  5. As long as I don't have to go to the spring fling event to get them I'd buy up to $50 worth.
  6. I had more problems getting PQs sent to Comcast. Just got 2 through gmail this morning. I can't remember ever having a problem with gmail and getting notifications and PQs.
  7. Or since They are doing the coins They can do it just about anyway They want to.
  8. Amazingly enough I have found multiple uses for ammo cans. For one thing they actually do hold ammo... And other stuff you want kept safe, secure and dry. I'll purchased at least 10 and probably as many as 15. As the treasurer of the WSGA I will only say that our funds are already committed to a large purchase this year so bidding on ammo cans is out. However that is a really neat idea. Can you say fund raiser?
  9. If I was the cache owner I'd be upset that you gave away the hide location with that pic. Did you fill the trench back in?
  10. I don't have the resources to front the funds for the buy however I would buy some. Quantity would depend on the price. edit to add - That I suspect they haven't been sitting out too long so I'm not going to assume if they have/had water in them they'd be junk. Give em a good drying out. Maybe hit them with a little De-rusto paint. And they'd be good to go. My concern would be that we get enough lids for them.
  11. Color me interested as well. My in-laws live in Twin Falls and we visit at least once a year and it wouldn't take much effort to combine the 2 events.
  12. I have met Jeremy and a number of the lackeys and I can assure you that they are as a group totally unsympathetic to the plight of the downtrodden I'm almost positive I've heard Jeremy say "Well, let them eat cake."
  13. When you look at the server slow issues in light of less serious things like global warming, tsunamis, and the world peace I can see why people are obsessed with it. I suggest you all hold your breaths until you turn blue. That will not only show TPTB how serious you are but it will also play a small part in the global warming problem. Thanks.
  14. Yes, and from my previous post - Northern Lights Brewing Co (509) 242-2739 1003 E Trent Ave, Spokane, WA 99202 It is centrally located in the Gonzaga U district; has lots of parking and a big room that will hold a lot of people. (I think someone told me 70 or so). Their beer is good and they also serve food, if you need a late night snack or missed out at the Buffet. I'm not a huge fan of drinking and driving so can anyone tell me how close this place is to some of the hotels mentioned earlier.
  15. I'd like a copy. Thanks.
  16. <muttering to self while punching away at calculator> $30.00 a year= $.08 a day = $.00333 an hour = $.00005555 a minute. GOOD LORD THEY ARE ROBBING ME BLIND WHILE I HAVE TO WAIT FOR A COUPLE OF MORE MINUTES TO CHECK TO SEE HOW MANY CACHES I HAVE. Why I ought a demand my money back.
  17. I'd rather be beaten by rusty barbed wire then use M$ IE.
  18. Rest Stops I don't know if anyone has posted this yet. If you click on any of the rest stops you should get the Lat & Long coords for them. It also lists which ones have wireless access.
  19. Actually it is that way in a couple of organizations I belong to. I am a Charter member for a professional organization and due to a pre-senior moment I had let my membership lapse. When I did remember I paid the back dues and even paid for the following year again. I knew I'd screwed up I accepted it. The funny part was that had I continued working on the marketing/membership committees since I hadn't realized I forgotten to pay. The committee chair took it upon herself to plead my case to the board and they made an exception. It helps that I knew 3 of the 5 board members and they knew what a flake I was but due to previous work for the organization and their petty for my advancing senility they cut me some slack.
  20. Ok one big question... If we aren't supposed to open the packet till noon (and presumably at that point we are a third of the way through the route) What is the point? Will all these new caches be at the end of the route, or at least in the last 2/3 so we can fit them in? If the point of a cache machine route is to hit as many as possible in some logical sequence then why be given them late. I admit I am tired right now but this seems like it would only be for those who want to drop the route to try to get a FTF, (if that is what I really was wanting to do I would definitely open the packet before noon) maybe thats the point but it doesn't seem to mesh to well with a cache machine route in my mind. Just some thoughts, not trying to cause angst. I'm with you ARJ, I couldn't see the point of opening it at t preset time.
  21. That link did not take me to the Garmin website... Doesn't work for me either. I suppose the server is being hammered by frantic cachers trying to get this done before the weekend.
  22. These were all taken when I got home from work today. It was sunny and warm in Bellevue, north of Mill Creek the weather was a little different.
