  1. It's there for me now. (Official app on the iPhone. )
  2. Now I want to go out tonight and be the FTF with a nude dog wearing a blue bandana while chewing gum.
  3. I don't have a Blackberry, but I would search or ask on Cachesense's official forum.
  4. I definitely get Cornwall with those coords. :-) Are you using the official Groundspeak app? That's what I'm using, on the iPhone; here's how you do it: 1) Pull up a geocache, any geocache, and tap Navigate to Geocache. 2) Tap the little flag at the top of the map screen. 3) Enter the coords, and a name if you want. 4) Tap Done, and there will be a yellow flag at the location of the coords. 5) Tap the flag, and your compass will point to that waypoint.
  5. This. Once, I posted a DNF (and nobody else did), and the cache owner discovered that the cache was gone. On another of my DNFs, the owner sent me a hint (I had made clear I was brand new and hopeless ). Don't be afraid to post a DNF.
  6. I hold the record for most finds by a male in my house ...
  7. My kids like the "treasure" too, but my 11yo daughter would be overjoyed to find Pokémon cards! One man's trash ....
  8. I had hoped to do this when I got a 330C a couple of years ago, but it really doesn't work. I've just started using my iPhone now. (Not much help if you're on a budget, I know.)
  9. My first find was yesterday. (And this is my first post. Hello everybody.) I’ve wanted to do this for a while, but picking up my shiny new iPhone and stumbling on the app finally got me in. The app located a one-star fairly near my office, so off I go after work. The map and description quickly led me to the correct area. I got out of the car, and homed in on the cache. There weren’t too many hiding place options, so pretty soon I was bending down to peek into a particular cranny, and there it was! A little canister, possibly a film container. I pulled it out, and sure enough, inside was a log book. I then realized I’d left my pen in the car, so after checking the area for muggles, I replaced the canister and went back to the car. I returned with the pen, looked around again, got the canister, and signed the book. One last look around the area, and I replaced the canister. And all the while I’m having one thought: “I’m going to get arrested for making a drug deal!” There I am, on a city street, acting furtive, playing with a cell phone, and stuffing a film canister into a subtle-but-obvious-if-you’re-looking-for-it hiding place. I kept waiting for the police to show up and cast me in the road company of Marathon Man. But no police came, and everything went fine, and today . . . I AM A GEOCACHER!
