  1. Looks like Tundra Tim picked up Snoopy... if anyone can help, please contact him Thanks
  2. I'm hoping to find someone in the area who will be heading towards Florida soon... I know it's a long shot but that's why I'm asking The tbug is Florida Snoopy (Formerly Seattle Snoopy) and his mission is to catch up to my cousin who used to live in Seattle but recently moved to Florida. He's getting married in a couple of weeks and it would be great if Snoopy could attend. If there's anyone that can help I would greatly appreciate it! He is currently in http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=93856 Thanks! Jason
  3. I recently found the I Can Row a Boat....Canoe? cache and it was one of my favorites. Nothing like rowing your boat upstream to find a 3 part multicache. Any cache that gets me that muddy and that worn out has my seal of approval. -estranho
  4. It has been found and Seattle Snoopy is on the move again!
  5. A few weeks ago I got word that Seattle Snoopy was placed in a cache in Charley Brown Park in Flora, Illinois. I was amazed because that's the town both of my parents grew up and they were married in that very same park - in fact, Snoopy was placed there the day before their anniversary. Now for the sad part, I was watching the cache to keep an eye on my travel bug and the very next post was unsuccessful in finding it! I was planning on going myself to check on it but school is keeping me very busy and I'm finding it hard to make it all the way to Flora. If someone could look in on it for me I'd really appreciate it! The cache can be found here: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=11192 Thanks! estranho
  6. A friend of mine placed the yet-to-be-released Korn cd, Untouchables, in a cache in Buckskin, In. The link to the cache is below. He was wanting me to post this in the forums because the cd will be released on 6/10/02 and he thought it'd be cool to share it to a lucky geocacher before it could be bought. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=15357 -estranho

    Indy cachers?

Wow, I've been away from the forums for several weeks and I come back to find my post revived... it fills me with an odd kind of pride As I stated in the original post I am fairly new to the area so I'm still trying to find 'the perfect place' and so far I haven't found it. But I was working on a cache container and failed miserably at that... imagine a cache container that just won't open and you know what I have Guess I'll just stick with ammo cases. Anyway, lately I have been caching at night to increase the difficulty a little and have really enjoyed it, I'm trying to think of a way that would require someone to hunt a cache at night to increase the challenge. Also, the idea of a cache hunt that requires backpacking in and possibly spending the night on the trail sounds like a great idea, I'd definately be up for that... now I just have to start bugging my friends to try to get one of them to come along with me, it's like trying to pull teeth to get my friends to even step into the woods, let alone spend the night.
