Same happened to me. I found a long list of options what may cause this. It is a terrible system. In my case the reason was some header text that was formatted different way as the upload required. I found the reason by comparing a working cardridge with the failing cartridge. I changed the text line by line until it stopped uploading correctly.

Comments on "Where are the missing DNFs?"
arisoft replied to Ragnemalm's topic in General geocaching topics
They will use Chat GPT to read logs and adjust CHS accordingly -
This text is displayed when you have blocked a user. It does not come with a message, it stays on the top of the conversation all the time until you unblock the user. I tried this with a friend and the friend could message me after I blocked him. So the blocking has no effect - really If the blocked friend send me a message when I have not opened the conversation, then the user disappeared totally from my message center and I can not even unblock him. This is really weird. Edit: I can see the blocked user by selecting "Show hidden" from the option menu and then all "blocked messages" appeared again. Practically speaking "blocking" just hides the blocked player from the list.

If the message stated that it may need attention the CO must decide wether it actually requires attention. Maybe the reviewer tried to find it

Thanks for separating this thread. Let's see if any cache is worth reporting.

Actually, they have this power only for few attributes. I would welcome EV attribute even I do not need this information as it is already on my map.

Unacceptable logging tasks Questions that can be answered without visiting the site, such as stating an elevation reading. Questions that assume prior knowledge of geology, such as "What type of rock is found here?" Asking geocachers to research the topic online. Asking geocachers to quote information from a sign. Asking geocachers to take measurements that do not relate to the earth science lesson and only prove that they visited the site. For example, “Measure the height of the boulder.” How many EarthCaches comply with these guidelines?

My Current Location Shows When Captured a Photo
arisoft replied to OlaFeil's topic in GPS technology and devices
Basically you don't worry about this feature when geocaching, because images you upload to geocaching.com will be processed automatically and location information among other metadata is ripped off. -
Should the difficulty rating account for a hint
arisoft replied to Pigeon9384's topic in General geocaching topics
I know , that's why I put the most important information in the hint instead of the description because most players do not read the description at all. Sometimes the hint is a riddle. Your suggestion is that in this case the difficult rating should be based on the difficulty of the hint? -
Should the difficulty rating account for a hint
arisoft replied to Pigeon9384's topic in General geocaching topics
I understand that the hint is encrypted just because it is not part of the actual listing. It is something extra for those who needs some help. But... - I have seen mystery caches where the hint is required part of solving the mystery. - I have seen traditional caches so far from the GZ that the hint is required to find the right location. To the OP I would say that do not take the hint into account. -
The problem with permission is that giving a permission comes with the possibility of liability. Few months ago a reviewer asked a land owner's permission for drilling a hole in a dead tree to make a new cache. The representative of the landowner was positive about the cache idea but getting a formal permission would be a difficult and time consuming task due to liabilities. I negotied an agreement that they are not forbidding this activity because it does not cause harm but they will not give official (written) permission to avoid liability issues.

Is cache adoption a legal transfer of property?
arisoft replied to djwhouse's topic in General geocaching topics
In the "Intro to Geocaching" they say that "Geocaches are found in parks, urban areas, forests, deserts, on top of mountains, underwater — pretty much anywhere you can imagine." I would say that a geocache is a physical or imaginary element somewhere in the real world in contrast to the listing that situates in cyberspace. -
Is cache adoption a legal transfer of property?
arisoft replied to djwhouse's topic in General geocaching topics
There is a good reason for this kind of disputes. For the transferring party, the adoption process is about the listing only But for the receiving party it is about ownership of the physical cache I think that the arbitrator (Groudspeak) may be legally responsible for damages caused by ambiguities in the contract terms. -
Now I found the correct cache. You are using decimal coordinates. The new coordinates are N 32 53.894 W 097 32.660
-
-
When hiding a geocache the system accepts many coordinate formats and automatically converts them to the correct format. Just start creating a new geocache and copy the confirmed coordinates from the Location box. Here is an example where I used a non stardard desimal format to enter coordinates... and the system converts is automatically to DDM after pressing the confirm button as you see here Just use this format for you coordinate change log (copy and paste). It should work because it worked with your 9 other caches already.

There is no App running when this happens on the web site. Now it is verified to happen with drafts made by two different apps. Are you sure that it works with drafts made by Cachly?
-
I suspect that these are different problems. I can upload images from the app but the uploaded image is lost after finishing the draft. If I upload the image while finishing the draft it works without problems.
-
I don't know how to make drafts with web browser. I use it only for finalizing them. The app I am using does not have feature for finalizing them. Some other apps may save images but Locus Map does not. It posts the photo direcly to Groundspeak server with the draft text. I have been using this same setup for years and now it started to destroy images.
-
I am used to take virtual cache and earth cache photos with drafts. Uploading of drafts with images on-line has no problems and the photo is already loaded to groudspeak server. Unfortinately, when I try to post the finalized log, this screen is displayed forever. The log text is still posted but the image is missing and it is not recoverable because the draft is removed. This has already happened twice and I have lost images from earthcaches. If the bug is not possible to fix, there should be a way to recover destroyed images because they may be oblicatory items for logging the find. I should be able to trust the saved data to remain available.
-
You have already lost your finds by playing them with another account. My suggestion is that you relog your 300 real geocache finds to the account you used for playing those adventures, unless you remember the answers for all lab positions. In that case you can switch the account in the Adventure Lab App and enter the answers again. It allows doing this without visiting them again.

When someone's log is very spoiling and the CO encrypts the content, the log may collect multiple "useful" flags. It helps a lot to find the most spoiling log entry. "Great story" is mostly used sarcastically to flag logs that are not great at all. I have also seen some kind of bullying with them. Here is an example I think that this experiment is not giving enough value to the game.

Changed a D/T rating and cachers are mad at me
arisoft replied to EmeEliKay's topic in General geocaching topics
When changing attributes you may post a maintenance log that explains the change and also works as a certificate for the prior finders about the attributes during their find. -
