  4. Hi, Yes this is annoying indeed, I now use wap.geocaching.com to drop bugs if I can't get near a computer that day. Its a pain, but it prevents the issue of people grabbing the bugs and stuffing up the mileage. See ya...Gary
  5. Thats a bummer steve, we were looking forward to catching up with you both. Good luck with the van repairs. Gary and Margaret

  11. Hi, I have always used metric being from New Zealand, it does cause confusion when you cache with people that use imperial. Comments like "Only 322 to go!!!", they mean feet and I think metres I guess it all depends on what you are used to and can visualise. See ya...Gary
  12. Great stuff indeed, congrats on the 1800. See ya...Gary and Margaret
  13. Great Stuff Bob, thanks for always being helpful when I fail to find your caches See ya...Gary & Margaret
  14. I think they are great now that GSAK has caught up with them. You can now set icons on the GPS depending on what the child waypoint is for. For example all the parking co-ordinates are now automatically programmed into my GPS with the correct icon. This works for me because this I used to program in the parking manually and go to the next nearest until I have used all the co-ordinates I have programmed or I have had enough of walking that day. This seems to work for me anyway. So these days I tend to visit caches with the parking co-ordinates as child waypoints first. As these is no manual process involved on my part. I have also started going through my old caches and adding in the child waypoints for multi’s and parking. It will be great when all caches have them, saves loads of time at home looking at maps etc . See ya…Gary
  15. Slipped down to number 20 And I thought I had a good month, but it seems others were more busy. Oh well at least I am now 10th in New Zealand, and thats all that really counts See ya...Gary

  18. Seems pointless to me, maybe archived caches shouldn't be able to be logged? Wouldn't that stop this practice? See ya...Gary
  19. Great stuff guys, thats a lot of tupperware in anyones book. See ya...Gary and Margaret
  20. Congratulations today to Ken and Anne of team zensunni who hit their 1,100 cache yesterday in Cornwall. Great stuff guys, looks like Matt’s “scytale” visit had helped take your numbers even higher. See ya…Gary and Margaret

  23. What on earth have you done to get an ASBO barring you from the whole of Hertfordshire , eviction is one thing but you have now sunk to far greater depths . Before you know it they will be transporting you off to Australia I knew that cache inside the police station was a bad idea, but I liked the location. You needed extreme skill to get the cache without being spotted Yes, we have been deported back to Bucks to serve the rest of our sentences. Hmmm transport to Australia, if its free that could be good. Then we are only a three hour flight from home.... See ya...Gary
  24. Mine is a little Kiwi that I found in a cache in New Zealand. I thought it was cool at the time and I haven't found anything better. The little Kiwi appears with travel bugs from time to time. Here he is with a popular Milton Keynes travel bug. See ya...Gary
