Just finished logging my caches after an afternoon and evening caching run. This afternoon, I had to get the laptop out to check something on a cache that had gone missing in Pointe-Claire. I was next to a building. So the wi-fi came in handy. I also checked my desktop to see if any more geocoinbunny caches had appeared. Sure enough, one was dropped off in DDO, about 20 min. from where I was. So I hurrried down there. Nice, a big woodland park. I bushwhacked through the woods and found the cache. Inside, was an egg with a coin. It was light blue and gold with a mauve glitter back. Very nice. I was starting to think that I would never find one but the Easter Bunny changed all that and on Easter Sunday at that. Like I've said in the past, you have to believe. I left a few little surprises for the next to find. Thank you so much, Easter Bunny.

Well, for the Fairy geocoin, I was ready to go from Montreal to Ottawa. Then I noticed there was one closer. Had the closer one been found, I would have made the trip. Roughly 100 miles.

Just a little heads-up for the folks on the forum. A lot of folks receive PayPal notices for coins that we buy and we sorta get used to seeing these in our e-mails. Today, I received an e-mail notification that someone had accessed my PayPal account and that they needed to check my account. There was a link added and it looked exactly like the log-in link for Paypal. They then add a line saying if I choose not to respond, I give them no choice but to suspend my account temporarily as it takes 72 hrs to investigate. As I read to the end of the note, it says "Please do not reply to this e-mail, the mailbox is not monitored and I will not receive a response. All this added to the fact that the Paypal addy at the top was suspicious looking and my name was not mentioned anywhere kind of lit up all my warning lights. Sure enough, it was a phishing e-mail. So I just thought of reminding everyone to be extra careful and check your real PayPal account before clicking on any links. It could save you a lot of pain.
