Thank goodness for this forum, as I needed to figure out what GZ meant. It's been driving me crazy! I finally know now....ground zero.

I recently used the update kit (purchased separately) to update our geomate jr. before our weekend away at a state park. My geomate now doesn't pull up any geocaches. The screen reads "DBASE BAD LOAD". I can't get anyone to answer my email messages or answer the phone at Geomate Jr./ Apisphere. Anyone had this issue before? Of course, my warranty is going to run out very shortly...

When I tried to place my first cache, I placed it too close to a school, so I removed it. I changed the title of it, as well as the location and now I want to delete it, as I am not going to activate that particular title. Maybe I am not thinking hard enough or overthinking, but I can't figure out how to delete the whole thing. Any ideas?

I am new to this and have only done this with my kids and never by myself. My children are 10 and 7. They are totally into the 'secrecy' part of geocaching and have been faced with muggles being nearby when we've been out. We all just act cool and do something else until we can get back to the sight.
