Just an update. Tomtom does work on these gps. I have bought one so I could play. Tomtom is copied onto a spare SD card. Speed cameras and POIs both work

I dont have one of the above mentioned GPS but according to another forum I belong to you can run tomtom on them

1. go to www.google.com
2. click on "maps"
3. click on "get directions"
4. type "New York City" in the first box (the "from" box)
5. type "London, England" in the second box (the "to" box)
6. Hit "Get directions"
7. scroll down to step #23

I have to have the Hep B jabs as I work in the NHS. I hate needles and pass out when ever I have them!!!

Am also having big probs with mem map and gsak now since new waypoints have come out!!!!When opening mem map am getting error message GC------- is not a valid waypoint code,also will not send waypoints to gps,can only seem to send them via Gsak and that takes a while to sort out!!!!
Also running FTF.exe in the background which is now not working.
Anyone got any ideas?
I have for some time stripped the "GC" when exporting from GSAK, so the problem did not arise for me.
As to FTF.exe there is an update if you go to the help dropdown.
Jim the person who wrote FTF.exe had an up date a few days ago. It was still being tested. I got a sneek peak on Sat to test that it worked. And it does!!

All requests for account have been sent out. Ive still got 90 left if anybody else wants one.

Ive got it working fine on a ipaq 3850 and a 3950.
Seems to start faster and plan a route faster.
New things include being able to input a lat and lang coord, they have taken away the facility to rotate the screen.

If anybody else wants/needs a gmail account they can get in touch with me. Ive still got loads of invites, I carnt get rid of them!!!
Its not called gmail any more its googlemail. Google lost a court case and had to rename. I think all the old accounts can keep xxx@gmail.com but new accounts are xxx@googlemail.com
At least I think it was something like that!!!

I dont mind bad spelling. I dont spell that good myself!! What I hate is txt speak. It dosent happen to much on this forum but on some I vist it takes ages to work out what people are saying.

Its that large I look for it everytime time I drive past. Im sure I spotted it once while I still on the motorway!!
