  1. I also use the NiMH rechargables and carry a charger plugged in my cig lighter, in case I need to recharge on the road.
  2. I hope so, and even more, I hope this time they release one close enough to here I can actually find one. I signed up early to be notified when any were released in my area and none ever were. One finally arrived in a local cache about two weeks ago that was held since 7/27/2005.
  3. dadgum, the big pages are back. THe last few days all the text was fitting on the screen, now I have to scroll right and left again to read a page. To many people running to high a resolutions on their computers, 800X600 is still ideal, then web sites wouldn't have to post larger text to make it readable for them. Rant over.
  4. Open Word, Type "Parking for geocachers only", Select all, change font to 150 or so, print, laminate, staple to tree Hey, you did change your name! That's an idea, especially if I can attach it to a metal sign to make it look "Professionally" done.
  5. Several years ago my father had somebody actually come on his property and BUILD a deer stand in one of his trees. When he called the cops to report it the first thing they asked was "is your property posted "No Trespassing"?" When he said no, they told him there was nothing they could do, your property MUST be posted no trespassing, or no law is being broken, even though the had actually nailed the stand to his tree. I have for a few months debated hiding a cache on my 80 acres of land and was just wondering where I might find a "Parking for Geocachers only" sign.
  6. Ahh, the fabled tree phone returns. When I was a young boy about thirty years ago my Dad used to coon hunt, and it was a standing joke in the family that if we ever needed to reach him we could call his tree phone. Of course this was years before cell phones which made the thought of being able to call him in the woods even funnier.
  7. Fifteen minutes to midnight on New Years Eve, and here I am Browsing the Forums. Anotherone From Indiana here.
  8. 6'6" and 400 pounds. I've lost 25 pounds in the last two months, but through dieting, not geocaching. Walking keeps me in better shape but never seems to affect my weight any.
