  1. With the GC forums being International posting a specific cache won't get noticed. If you state / area has a "society" I would work with the forums in the group. I know I get most of my cache information at my local "club". That way you are targeting the people who would most likely hiding the cache. I guess the regional section of these forums would do too... I don't go there much.
  2. that is a good question. why do you want to delete the cache?
  3. Micros (even traditional ones) can be a big challenge. I know the first day I went caching we almost gave up. We were not "thinking 4th dementionally". Now I know to do a lot of looking with your hands... I would have just let the request for a hint go by, unless there are a large amounts of DNF's.
  4. Do you like people not knowing who you are? I know I like the fact that I have a "secret identity" on the web... If you want to keep that secret leave the name off. Otherwise, only cachers will make the connection. And although it seems like they are everywhere. This is still a very small game in the real world.
  5. I have put items on my watchlist if I either want to see if a bug that is there has moved (in case someone visits and doesn't find the bug) or if I had a DNF or thought the cache was cool. I like the fact that no one knows if I have it on my watch list.
  6. I Know you were trying to be helpful. I think the fact that is was not your cache and you were "imposing you will" is what did it. There seem to be a lot of touch people around here....
  7. When I first found out about this game, it was like wow. I never knew this was happening under my nose... I like the fact that others don't know. And as usual it seems I found about it on the edge of its overwhelming popularity. I know that in a year or so when the popularity dies I will still want to find the cache.
  8. Once you get a bad case of poison ivy you make it a point to know what is looks like. I am allergic. If I see a cache to close I either don't get it or take additional precausions.
  9. Davispak and Super Nate. Be CAREFUL! The more often you are exposed to it the better chance you have of developing an allergy... I got it real bad last spring. Almost made me want to quite geocaching. ... NAH!
  10. could it be First to Log in regards to a new log book. I have seen that when the log book has been replaced...
  11. I agree, notify the approver. They can deal with the owner if permission was not obtained.
  12. If I am with another cacher or group and the other cacher finds the cache, I sometimes touch a part of the cache but it is signed by another member of the group. How does everyone feel about that?
