The last time mom made the trip it took her 45 minutes to get there. 2 hours and 45 minutes to get home. She missed a vital turn to the highway and ended up driving blindly through the back roads home. Needless to say she freaked out and won't go alone again.

I have a little time to play with this. Next weekend I am going to RI. I am driving my mother there for an activity of her own. Of course I am going to do some caching to kill the time while waiting. I know right where I am going.I also know that there are 18 caches with in the area I am going to be. I how ever do NOT want to load 18 caches one at a time. I am spoiled with PQ's.I want to run a PQ of just those 18 specific caches. How would you suggest I go about this? I also realize that in the time it took to type and think this post out I could have loaded these caches. You see I often go to an area and look before hand to see what is available. So I will be doing this more than one time.

I as well have noticed this issue. I have almost contacted another member because I thought they had taken my avatar. As you can see I is one of a kind. I am running Windows 7 X64 with Chrome as a browser. This is a clean install as of three weeks ago, so I know the cache has been cleared.

I got this today.......

One cache sticks in my mind. .19 mile round trip from parking to cache and back. My wife came out with 25+ ticks on her clothing. I had NONE. Our caching buddy 3. End of caching for the day......

I would also +1 the .25 mile or better........ I don't see the need to completely fill urban areas with Micros...... and LPC......

OK I just fell in love with a coin. I am not even sure how I ran across it. I know it is available through coins and pins still. I thought I would try my luck here first.. OK start by reading THIS . Once you have made your PQ and selected it to run you SHOULD find a notification in your e-mail that it is ready to be downloaded. Click on the link in your email to download it. Save it to a location that you can find easily. Extract it, you will end up with 2 files. 1 being a .GPX file 2 being a Wpts.GPX file Connect your GPSr to your computer and put the GPX file into the Geocaches folder and the Waypoints in the Waypoints folder. I also found THIS while looking for the proper place. I own a Garmin. So I am using information I found in these forums and searching the web.

What flavor of windows are you running

Power trail..... there are tales of close to 900 floating around these parts...... I guess they want quantity of quality...... I have personally done 20 in slight over 3 hours. The only reason we slowed down was a child that was with us broke a tooth. I see ~100 in a day with the proper planning on a trail that is saturated ...... easily doable......

This year I stayed a way from trading and swag. Though over the winter months I am going to stock up on insect repellent wipes. I plan on leaving them in all the wooded caches I visit. I will refrain from taking anything.......

Yea Chad I saw that about 2 minutes after I posted the thread. If it had mentioned before, I could not find it with in a search, or the proper use of key words in the search....

Try holdng the Ctrl key down when clicking links to have them open in new tabs. You can also change your options to make this happen. (p.s. You might want to check the pinned topic for suggestions on how to properly post to this section of the forums.) I can also right click the link and so on........ Had I only seen that before I hit the submit button....... Sorry...... I see I can not edit the title of the thread...
