  1. This might just be my favorite!
  2. Some new coins I picked up this last week. Now if I can figure out how to keep the fingerprints off the plain one.
  3. Figured this out right after I posted. I guess I need to be more patient before asking for help. Thanks for the replys.
  4. Not sure this is the correct forum but... I have recently moved and changed my location on my account details, but I still am getting email notifications for new caches in my old area and I am not getting any for our new area. Is there somewhere else I need to change my location? How can I fix this?
  5. If you go to the Idaho page http://www.geocaching.com/local/default.aspx?state_id=13 on the forum, down under Latest Trackable Items.... it lists the 3 coins that were placed on October 10th, in caches that have been archived back in 2007.
  6. Yes only moun10bike coins and it looks like they are only discovering and moving them, not keeping them. I will send geocaching.com an email.
  7. Three Moun10bike geocoins were moved into caches on the same day. Two of the cashes were one day only bashes in 2007 and the other was archived back in 2007. This person started their account the day before placing the coins. When I go to his/her acount is says they have moved 268 trackables, all Moun10bikes. What is the protocol for when something like this happens? Can/is anything done about retrieving these coins and from the archived caches?
  8. Dropped off "Cubby" to have him discovered as we were driving off!
  9. I agree with everyone on how useful the kids can be. I have waited to go to some caches with the kids just to use them as camo. I will admit there are some caches that do require a little more stealth and I either do them by myself or only with the older kids.
  10. Will be placing our resident coin this weekend. Thanks again 007Bigd for the opportunity to share this coin in our cache. I think this is a great idea and the next cache I hide (I am working out the details to a puzzle cache now) will have a resident coin.
  11. Thanks for the new tip. Some of us "newer" cachers like learning these tips and tricks.
  12. I was just wondering if others had ran into this problem before. I was unaware you could start a cache page with out submitting it. Is there a time limit that it can stay unpublished? Like I said I am waiting for a few items to be finished up before it is ready to be published.
  13. I'll have to read the hide rules, but I thought the all stages of a multi cache had to be .1 miles away from any existing cache. Yes the plan was to get information from the starting sign that would answere clues to the next stage and so on to the final hide.
  14. You had one of the special bundles... with a tricked out coin flip lol. The non track was the only boyscout related coin I had, so it goes with the resident. If ya just can't seem to muster up .43 in the couch, let me know. Lol ... funny cuz the post lady weighed and charged accordingly to the packages, so dunno whats up with that. Not in the couch, but in the kiddies piggy bank! J/K LOL. It was more of an FYI. Loved the scout themed coin. Wish it was trackable. Do you know the person who made it? I have been thinking about making a scout themed coin but am worried about using trademarked / copyrighted images without haveing to pay an arm and leg. O-well maybe some day I'll get around to it.
  15. I have been working on a multi / puzzle hide at a local historic site owned by the City and just a couple of weeks ago someone hid a new cache where I was planning on starting my cache from. (I was waiting for their new interperative sign to be installed and some construction to be completed before hideing mine). My hide was ment to show off and educate people about the site. I have permission from the city to hide my cache. In fact they are donating some swag for the cache! So back to the main question is it OK to ask this other cacher to remove and disable there cache? They did not ask permission before they hid theirs. I have thought about contacting them and asking them to help with the cache seeings how I don't think there are very many cachers in our area. (I just recently moved here but have been coming to the area for work for the last 10 years)
  16. Thanks, my coins (one not trackable)arrived this week. Mine came with a little note from the Post Office that I owe 43 cents. Will not be able to get up to the cache for a couple of weeks but will drop them off as soon as I can.
  17. Here is one I picked up recently, Sparky TB3R9FW This is in the back of my truck: And with the family at a cache:
  18. Here is one I have been trying to get for awhile. Just got it this weekend. I actually got two, the regular one and the limited edition. http://

  20. Have listed a artist edition on ebay My link. These are not for sale and are being given to donors to the Roundhouse project and to VIP's. All proceds go to Roundhouse Retoration Inc (Rrinc)
  21. One I realy like that I received a few weeks ago, but with moving, have not had time to post until now.
  22. I am sending out paypal invoices this week. If you are interested and have not already received an invoice or message from me, please send me a message with your email and mailing address. Locally the coins have been a success. It has been a good way to introduce some people to geocaching.
