Found this cute frog, today, on my way to a cache. PS Ran into my first copperhead a few days ago...I am lucky I did not get bit. (did not have my camera)

By this time next week, I suppose I'll be qualified. I'm vacationing with the family in SD next week. This won't be one of my multi-hundred find caching pillages, but I expect I'll find a few near wherever I happen to be with the family. Applications for GPSBabel groupies are available at the counter... Where will you be staying? It has been a while since our very-fun, marathon-adventures when DocDiTTo was here. I'm sure several people will be happy to guide you to the best of the best . . . Here is one Bookmark List and another for the World Famous Sandy Creek Cowboy Caches. Speaking of "DocDiTTo" I will be caching, in Pennsyltucky, with him, tomorrow!

Yeah . . . I just noticed that person put negative comments on a couple of my Bookmark lists also. Sheesh. The comments should have to be "signed." Why would someone do that? I was just looking at Miragee's bookmarks....I looked at the lame rating...made a thumbs up ratting...it said there was one ratting???? I looked again at hers and mine and the "lame" ratings are gone.

Hi, I just noticed that some one rated my bookmark list. I am shocked at what they wrote. They think all of the “Dak Girl” caches are lame…and can be done in flip-flops! ???????????????????????

Ok...but I am sort of anal about my beer...and I know that John thinks Miller in the can is a good beer. "Fizzy Yellow beer is for wussies" I am too! I heard they brew that other stuff in a bunch of white porcelain bowls after guys like us are done drinking the good stuff! Drink one Miller Genuine Draft and...... Look, I have never had a bad beer and I bet neither one of you has turned down a beer so let's fess up...... John, once you acquire a taste for good brew, it's really hard to go back. But if it makes you feel better, I drank a lot of Strohs in my younger days! However comma we all know that John is no longer in his "younger days"!

I use Palm Desktop and MCE all the time but... ...I use an old version of Palm Desktop/Hotsync (v4.0.1). Since this is the suggested solution to the aforementioned incompatibility, that may be why it works for me... (It should also be noted that I'm using USB and not an old fashioned serial port.) Software...can't live with it. Pass the beer nuts. I tried loading the 4.0.1 and I still can't get it to work. This PDA has a serial port. Oh well......back to paper......Thanks for all the help. r/ jodi I have media center…and an old palm… I am using Palm desktop 4.1.4 I use an infrared connection on my computer and a serial connection on Sumrall’s. All works great…however comma you have to set the palm up for the type of connection you have. If you need more help…I will be back next week and can come over and help.

Yes I have noticed the same thing with my "X" the new receiver/processor in the 60x's and 76x's are incredible...I get a signal inside at my computer and in the heaviest tree cover...under walk ways, under bridges and in tunnels. Also noticed that I get a signal anywhere on a train…my old unit (LOL I said unit) would only work if I held it up to the window. Got to love the "X".

LOL I was not in any program...It was during the summer...I had a friend who was interning for the State Department and staying in the dorms...I scammed on an extra entry key and stayed in the dorms for free.

GPSBabel should do the job for you. GSAK uses GPSBabel to do all of its exporting, but for some reason, it doesn't provide importing capability (i.e. you can only open GPX and LOC files in GSAK). GPSBabel has a simple front end windows app that you will get when you download the program. It will convert all kinds of stuff in either direction. Dave Edit: Here is the list of things it will convert. Wow...once again YOU ARE THE MAN!!!! Thanks that was supper easy and will save me hours of work.

Please Help! I have a (tpg) file of DC metro stations... However comma I don’t have National Geographic topo... Is there way I can use/convert this file for use in GSAK or map source? PS Last chance for Coins or TBs going east...I leave tomorrow.

The MTRP cache wars have become so passe... This new volley could shape up to be quite an entertaining battle though... (Be nice boys...we all have to play in the same sandbox here.) I did not intend to not be a nice boy...did not intend to offend...just playing..If we all did things the same way this sport would be very boring.

Just checked mmcgr and minnie's Profile and it says 837 finds What's up? LOL I was watching a cache they did...I got the e-mail notice but never looked at their profile or the cache page. Their log! I misinterpreted it as their 1300th find. Now that I re-read it, I see it was found at 1300. I am sorry for the confusion and hope that no keyboards were ruined from someone spewing on them. PS If you like, I will stop cutting and pasting the same log and start cutting and pasting sections from an encylclopedia that have absolutely nothing to do withe the cache that was found.
