  1. Finally! First time in months that downloading to WhereYouGo has worked for us! Thank you!
  2. I did find the above image/selection. Once all my finds are turned off it's easier to see the available adventure lab caches. Once back on, none of them in the area I completed the latest is for a completed adventure lab. This is on my phone app. As you mentioned below, you can't see them on the website. Sorry, I did see you sent a private message, which is what sent me to the boards and your lovely assistance. I do appreciate your time and patience. Longtime cacher, but new to the adventure lab part. Liking it for sure!
  3. Thank you again. I do have a different view than what you have showing on the website geocaching version and something different on the phone app. The phone app informs me that Adventure lab caches are not shown, but I have 51 completed. So I can see that in the count of my 4600+ caches. This is good. (Still think it showed the same number before I completed the 5 adventure lab stages, but I'll live until the next one.) All seems to be as it should be... I think. LOL! Thank you again for your assistance.
  4. Thank you for this. I'm still a wee bit confused. If I use the Geocaching App on my phone, it shows Adventure Lab caches available. Once completed, they are just gone. Not quite as your illustration shows. When using www.geocaching.com, I don't show Adventure Lab caches at all either non-completed or completed. Nor is there a filter for turning them on. It seems to be the only thing I can't filter. I'm not sure if I have something turned off that I can't seem to find or what. But, sadly, once completed they are gone from my geocaching app. Again, show on the phone app until completed. Neither on the website. Weird. Thanks again for your assistance.
  5. If I may, many years later, ask a question along the same lines. We're new to Adventure Lab caches having only done a couple. The first lab completed, 10 stages, surprised us and gave us 10 completed caches on Geocaching. The next Lab we completed, and the five stager today, did not give us any caches - even after having completed the log. Is there something we're missing? Since we can't see a completed Lab cache on the Geocaching pages, it's hard to figure out what exactly is happening. Any assistance from anyone would be helpful. Feel free to answer here or via the Geocaching messaging. Much appreciated in advance.
  6. As a new to Adventure Lab caches cacher, I'm betting the original request for the completed Adventure Lab caches to show on the Geocaching App map page. As it stands I can see potential Adventure Lab caches, non-completed, on the Geocaching app map but not once they are completed. It would be nice to see them there also. (Especially since it would help to follow along on "caches counted". Don't seem to be in my case. But that's another issue I'm trying to locate info on.)
  7. Wow! That is AWESome! I don’t believe we’ve nabbed a cache in Idaho yet. Looks like we may need another road trip soon!
  8. Aloha dcmcveigh! A big thank you to you also. Great list. At this time in the world I did get a tinny chuckle when I noticed hat Florida is not listed in the 50 State Star states. Florida definitely dances to a different beat these days! Thank you again for this great list. I see more caching spots in our traveling future! Oh, and our apologies to you also for the delayed response. Didn’t mean to be away so long. Thank you again.
  9. Aloha Colleen! Another excellent suggestion. We have tested it and it does work quite well once you find a starting point. We also noticed that the cache owner may have a bookmarked list of not only their own but of others. Also helpful. Thank you again for the assistance. Always appreciated. P.S. My apologies for the slow response. Never our intent.
  10. Aloha! TndAndGG! Wow! This is AWESome of you. Until the responses we didn’t actually realize that Geo-Art was annotated as Puzzle or Mystery caches. Or with the Spider Geo-Art, Puzzle, Mystery and Letterboxes. That certainly shortens the searching time. As does another cacher providing a wonderful listing of 13 different Geo-Arts! Thank you for being yet another cacher that plays well with others! P.S. My apologies to you also for the delayed response. You were not forgotten. Nor anyone that has responded. Thank you..
  11. Aloha! CAvinoGal! Love the name... and wine! My apologies for the slow response but funny enough we actually almost completed the spider geo-art before reading your missive! Only have two Multics, hard to get to, and one DNF to rectify to have it all complete! We did what you and others suggested by zooming in. Worked perfectly. Also allowed us to do the majority of a Challenge road. All that we met the requirements for anyway. Lots of fun. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Much appreciated. Our apologies again for the slow response. Aloha!
  12. Aloha! With Covid still playing amongst us we've decided to start "doing" geo art pieces. We've pulled up the Florida map and loaded caches throughout via Google Earth; didn't really notice any "art" areas. We've attempted to search for them on Geocaching.com to no avail. We have just searched for information via the community forums and have found much varied info but not exactly what we're looking for. What we would like is to find either a bookmark list of all known geo art, either by state, county; alphabetical, or any other such list or instructions on what to input to create a pocket query, if that's possible. In short, how do we go about locating geo art caches/pieces in our state or any other? We travel often and believe this would have us traveling even more but closer to home. Can you help? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Happy New Year. Happy Hunting. Lastly, be positive but test negative!
  13. Aloha JL_HSTRE! Thank you for the list. This will be fun to see how many we might be able to add our name to after so long. Love it when that happens. Thanks! On another note, you wouldn't happen to know where to look for a listing of geo art caches in Florida and any other state, would you? Happy to go to whatever conversation blog.
  14. Aloha lee737! My apologies for the way past due response but I am just seeing this! So sorry! I would have to go back and look, which I will, to see if the TB is set to collectible. If I remember correctly, iffy, I don't believe we saw the Collectible ability which was one of the things that generated our question. We have since learned that the new-to-us Lock/Unlock function works as we wished. Locked the TBs we don't want anyone to log but can be unlocked should we desire. It seems to be the answer to our dilemma. We will check for the Collectible button once again though. Thank you for taking the time to respond. My apology again for taking so long to say so.
  15. Hummm..... as I continue to research it looks like I am no longer able to move things to the Trackable Collection. That's probably where we were moving them to previously and then back to Inventory when needed. Hummmm.......
  16. Aloha Unit473L & cerberus1! First and foremost -- HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I do hope it's the tastiest one yet! Thank you for defining the Lock selection. It seems to be a new-to-us name for what we believe was once called Retired, or some such thing. After reading your inputs I checked on our Kolohedog TB that we "retired" years ago once it had circled the world and actually been returned to us. Very cool. As I look at it now, it shows in our inventory but greyed out and having only an "Unlock" selection available under Actions. Seems to serve the same purpose. The only difference looks to be that under the older option the trackables did not show in your inventory as displayed on your profile/activity page but did in your listing, and they now do. No biggie. As long as we can keep them from being logged outside of any event we may attend and drop them for discovering at those events then we're good. We're a bit funny about these three planisphere trackables - were gifts from the guy that made our coins. Very nice. The Lock button looks to be the answer. Thank you. Now, as for discovering trackables that you've never seen or logging caches you've never found, we've never understood the reason. What's the point? So someone can say they have a billion finds? There's no winner in this game to my knowledge; just self satisfaction. The only reason I can see, outside of maliciousness, is with all the new challenge caches. Maybe someone requires 500 discoverables to claim a find on a particular cache. We wouldn't be able to log that one. That may be frustrating to some. We just did our first Wherigo and were surprised at the end to find six caches added vice one. That may explain how some cachers numbers have increased so drastically in a short time period. Do one and get 10. Wish my stock portfolio worked that way! At least you have to be at least close to the mark to be allowed to answer - that's an interesting twist. Summary: This is but a fun game that we enjoy doing around the world. We stopped creating TBs or sending our coins out due to the theft and loss. We'll happily retrieve, try to meet its goal, and move along trackables when we find what we perceive to be a safe cache though. Happy to help if possible. That's part of the fun! Thank you again for your help. And a very Happy Thanksgiving. Stay safe and stress-free during the holidays to come!
  17. Aloha All! Forgive me if this question has been asked and answered previously. I have been unable to find anything that quite explains my question. I have three TBs that will never be out of my possession. They are only taken to event caches for those that wish to discover them. Once the event is over and any wishing to discover have had the opportunity to do so, we remove them from the inventory. It's been quite some time since we've had the opportunity to attend an event but did so recently. We took the three TBs out of storage and dropped them in the cache for discovering. Now that the event is over and sufficient time has passed we would like to remove them from our listing of moveable items so as not to have false mileage added to them but our old button is gone! Our choices seem to be "Missing" or "Lock". We understand "Missing" since we have had so many go that way but we don't know what the new-to-us "Lock" is all about. Can you help? What does the "lock" do and is there a way to store them that I don't accidently drop or visit them in other caches? Your assistance is appreciated. Happy safe and stress-free holidays. Happy hunting! Aloha! & Wahine Eye Spy (aka Ann & Char)
  18. Thank you ever so much for the information. All are in the process of being plugged into the road trip plans as we speak. We’re thinking you’ve just added even more fun to an already festive looking trip. Thanks bunches! Aloha!
  19. J L_HSTRE: thank you for the listing. That is so very different from my current. Happy to have and use it. Thank you again!
  20. The Jester: that’s an excellent idea! As a matter of fact, as soon as the craziness of the times and people stop scarfing up RVS, trailers and motor homes we’ll be picking up our new truck and trailer. We still love international travel but while it’s on the taboo list there’s a whole big beautiful country at our door step. National park checklist and passport in hand. You may have just added another element. Thanks for that!
  21. Aloha Coachstahly! Thanks for taking the time to respond. Much like the CAA series, we’re looking for a series across the country that consists of at least one particular/specified cache in each state. Something different to strive for if you will. Our old pocket query will display a list of all the CAA caches and shows two CAA caches in Indiana with both being archived. Maybe we have a link to an old listing? Should you happen to know of any “don’t miss” caches or series we’re happy to hear of them. Always!
  22. Oh my! Silly us! We just located a pocket query of our own with a link to a bookmarked link! Silly silly us! We see large numbers of them archived. Always a pity. Though we do have a query available, always happy to hear your thoughts. Particularly if anyone knows of a series replacing this one. Now that we’re retired and traveling as much statewide as we used to do internationally we’d love to fulfill a challenge as such. We’re on our way to Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana soon. Gotta love travel and caching! Aloha!
  23. Aloha All! We’ve done a bit of online searching through the forums but are coming up with a DNF. (Sniff) we’re looking for information, preferably a bookmarked listing, of all the CAAs. If anyone can either direct us to such a list or topic we would appreciate it. In the meantime, stay well, wear a mask when necessary and happy hunting! Aloha!
  24. Thanks Seaglass Pirates. Brain fart from traveling. Think my barely having had time to cache last year has made me a bit rusty. Gotta fix that! Thanks again.
