I'm getting a blister from scrolling past what seem to be hundreds of posts about waypointing, especially the suggestions for categories. Is there a way to avoid seeing them when I search for new posts, or should I just plan on forming a callus?

There's a cache in my neck of the woods that I found within hours of it's being approved. It was more than two months before the second find. You just never know.

I'm not sure we want to encourage grave-robbing. Having said that, if you had some indication on your cache page of what was required, I'd do it. Of course, if you thought being caught by a muggle while looking under a park bench was bad...

The 200 cache limit per file is unacceptable.

Congratulations QDman!! With my slow (24K) dialup connection, it is taking a long time for the pictures to load. I'll have to go down to the library just so I can review your entire blog. I also started a blog a few months ago. It has been fun to have a place to put all the pictures captured during caching adventures. Very nice blog! I love the stories. I wish I could write that well, but I'm forced to say it with pictures.

The only FTF prize I ever placed was a DVD that related to the theme of the cache.

I knew that slowing down would save gas, but I never realized how much! Thanks for the info. It reminds me of that old joke: “I brought a new carburetor that saved thirty percent on gas, a new transmission that saved fifty percent on gas, and a new set of spark plugs that saved forty percent of gas. After I drove about twenty miles, the gas tank overflowed.” (edit for spelling)

I thought of something similar, but here's the problem with it: if I find a WJTB, submit a photo, move it to a new cache, and it's then stolen by someone who doesn't log it, my picture would be disqualified. Or I could log it in a cache but not leave it. Then I get the Jeep , but the previous finder get his or her picture disqualified.

Most of my puzzle caches require some Internet searching to solve (unless you're really smart). Also, multi-caches certainly don't have all the waypoints on the cache page. So there's apparently some wiggle-room in those guidelines.

Well, whaddaya know? I always have my camera handy when I 'cache. A few weeks ago, I started a little blog, so I could share the experience with my friends and family. Then this happens.

One of my caches (Sky Tale) has had it's 1st waypoint disappear two or three times. I sort of expected this, because it is in a rather exposed area. I just keep replacing it. If it ever gets to be too much, I'll just move the waypoint to a place that's less likely to be muggled.

When we get close, we'll make a rule that every viewer must post a log! I'll start now:
