Which one's your sister. There's too many to read them all. This happens quite a lot. I've seen several logs that either read "Found this without GPSr, trying to figure out if we want to get into this." or "Found without GPSr, what would be the fun in using one". The last one I came across, the guy was doing multi caches. Sis did not log a find on GC.com she had seen what we do and thought I can do it without satnav so off she went..The log will have her print though.. Will check when I do the cache myself..

I bought Cachemate but to be honest don't get on with it so tend to use Sonar... If there was a way to double click in MM and it open up the sonat cache page I would be a very happy cacher..

Must admit that I have removed any of my archived caches.. Even if they are 200 miles away lol. So if passing should I remove them or leave them in place?

Hi All. I'm joining this thread very late and we head down to Lowestoft for a week on Saturday so would obviously miss the meet. Hope to visit the cache which is available.. just a question. Is there any facility at the Jamboree we can attend (I Understand the protection issues) My daughter has now joined Guides from Brownies and I attended Scouts from Cub to Venture Scout (Chief Scout Award).. Even if just a promotional area/tent or the like.. Regards

Yup, totally agree, am currently running CacheMate and MM, double click on a cache icon on MM and CacheMate opens up the corresponding cache page. Cheers folks will give it a try.. The double click has more than tempted me.

Ok Here we go.. How to get lots running without "Simulated Delay Mode" TT/MM/Sonar Hard reset. Load your working patched TT to sd and insert. Cancel the autorun when the card is inserted. Run all the cab files on the SD card in folder 2577, ttn last and install all files on the device. Setup tt and select com 4 option other nmea device and allow to settle in.. If the device does not capture within 10 mins change to com2 to make sure the gps is working then return to com4. Install MM and save to the device load your maps and setup to com 4and run.when captured soft reset. Load TT in a good coverage area and allow to aquire. Load MM and allow to aquire. If mm gives a track with blue "I" and sim mode play with the settings to com2 and back untill it latches. Now you should have tt and mm running together.. I tend to never shut these down, just turning off the machine and leaving these in the background. Now install GPXSonar to the storage card. This works for me and leaving the progs running seems to end the port sharing blues. Have fun

Ok I have set the system up without GPSGate and will see how I get on with both on com4. Better I guess as there may not be the on/off lag.. time will tell.. I wonder if accuracy will suffer.

Mmmm this is a followup regarding the gps lag.. I have started to notice this but only after adding GPSGate to the system. Seems like the prog shares the signal in more of a 5 to you 5 to me rather than every other card.. I may be wrong but that is how the system seems to respond. But TT and MM run together so I am still happy.. And with MM giving me 11 sat green light accuracy to .80m i will be using it for cache placements..

Just a followup on Slytherin's post. I have had my GPS operative well within the site mentioned... mind you they could blanket block as and when they wanted I suppose.. I wanted to place a 5/5 micro but did not think my "guards" would let me By the way S can I help to reopen a certain cache... I don't mind being the maintainance man

Dont know what the problem is ..Tend to think there are remnants of an old incorrect driver in the system.. Will try to use the 2nd boot of the main indoor machine.. XPProSP2 and see if that is ok.. I REALLY want to use the laptop for this.GGGGRRRRRRRRRR
