O k I am looking to buy the 450t or 76csx. But like to know if 1 is better for me to use. I want 1 mainly for hunting & hiking And will use it for some street navagating. Which should I get? Which 1 locks on sats better under heavy canopy? Or which is the best buy.help is needed. thanks

I have city select v6 turn by turn in my gps for a few years always work till now. Now I get a screen that comes on and said OFF ROUTE! RECAULATE with a yes and no but the yes is high lighted so when i press enter on gps nothing happens screen is frozen I have to shut gps off and then back on hit way point that i want and go to . Can some one help me or is the unit cook. thanks for any help

I've read some where here that you can download city select north america v6 And us topo at the same time to your gps. But how?I can only do one or the other.And if i can get both in to the gps. How do i use the gps to change from city select to topo when needed. thanks for any help you can give me.Oh i am using a garmin gps map 60c.

Can some one help me . ? I am using google earth on my computer and would like to go to a spot on the map. let's say the numbers are N 44 degree 06'03.57" W 69degree 57'42.45" .Now how do I get these numbers right to put in my garmin to go to the right location .Garmin has 7 numbers to type in and has you can see google earth has 8. Hope someone can help me. thanks for any info.

ok this may be a foolish ? but here goes. ok lets say a friend calls you to help him drag a deer out from the woods .He has a gps and took the coordnates let say it was n38*51.338 w094*47.929 How do i take them numbers and put it in mine gps to find where the deer is.Not nerver been there.I have a garmin gpsmap60c I know how to make way points and go to them . Or download a way point from a computer and go to it. Hope someone can help me. thanks

Hi I have a garmin 3 plus and would like to know if i should change any setting on it? distance&speed STATUTE heading AUTO MAG VAR WO17degree position format HDDD MM' SS.S" map datum WGS84 My ? is this if i have a waypoint that i am going to and hit go to and get a striaght line in my gps with the bearing saying 270degree 1 mile to distanation. Now i take out compass set it to 270degree start walking picking trees to keep striaght. And if i was to walk 100 yrds I would have a differnt bearing reading on gps. Why is that? I'm walking striaght with the compass.So shouln't GPS&COMPASS work together. thanks for any help. USEABOW.
