    New Caches

So, are you saying there are different approvers for different locations? I am new here, so I am just trying to learn the ways. I posted a new cash in the BC, Canada area that is my first cache so I am a little excited about it.

Cool, now wouldn't this be a great NEW feature for PQ?

    New Caches

Just wondering how long it takes to approve a new cache. I looked at the FAQ and didn't find anything. mrking

Hmm, you are slowly convincing me to sign up now. But from your statement do you mean that Packet Query will sort by the directional area, or that you need GSAK to do the directional sort from the Pocket Queries data.?
  6. Hey, that is excellent. I didn't know Ohio and Arizona where now Canadian provinces. Beauty eh!!!!!!
  7. Just wondering where I can but the Lock n Lock containers in Canada (preferable BC). I've hit Canadian Tire with no luck. Cheers, mrking
  8. I looked for Lock n Lock containers at Canadian Tire with no luck. Anyone in Canada (or maybe even BC) know where I can buy them? mrking
  9. Hey, I was looking for that. Thanks for all the posts for the NEWBIE.
  10. Just wondering if there is a geocaching glossery at all. For example, what is: TB as in "Dropping off TB " Any others out there that I need to learn?
  11. You can pick up a Garmin GPSMap 60 for about $250 online.
  12. I contact garmin and they assured me Metroguide Canada v4 works with the GPSMap 60. So that is a relief. Just a few more things to check out.

Ok, lets rephrase this: Pretty please, so I don't have to pay for it.

  15. I already have MetroGuide Canada v4 anyway, so the V isn't a great deal anymore. Also since I already ahve Metroguide I'd like to stick to garmin. Unless, Metroguide works with other devices, which I am guessing it does not. Hmm, research and more research....
  16. Yeah, for Canada. I do all my purchasing at GPS Central as they will always match a price for me if I find a lower one. I was looking at the 60C as well. But wsn't sure if I really need a colour screen. As for memory, 24MB should be good as I do not intend to load the entire Mapsource Canada v4 CD onto it. However it would be nice to load at least one province in at a time. Hard choice these days. I know I want a Garmin as they have been good to me. I'll have to put a few more days research into this one. Cheers, Mike
  17. If you live in Canada, I have had nothing but great experiences with GPSCENTRAL.com on 3 seperate purchases. They have very good prices and they also price match, so if you find a better price at one of the other online retailers, they will match it guaranteed. They are based in Calgary at: http://www.gpscentral.com
  18. My eTrex is good but very lacking in many aspects. I am finding it not very accurate for geocaching expecially when the sky view is limited. So, I am thinking about upgrading to the Garmin GPSMap 60. Anyone have any experience with this unit. It seems to have everything I need and more. Not just for geocaching but for my fishing activities as well. There is also just the GPS 60, but I figure if I go for an upgrade I might as well go for something that will last me and my kids for sometime. I am looking for user experiences (good or bad) about the unit. Cheers, Mike
