Ok I do want to send a real coin out, but I'm new to all this can someone suggest a coin that is less collectable.

makes sense to me however i guess i just like the feel of the coin in my hand and im sure that others feel the same.. the paper coin (proxie) is understandable however i think ill just put out coins.. i feel bad about losing that money however its the just the principal .. the coins are there for a reason.. to move along and i guess there will always be people who dont respect it.

we are kinda new to this and therefore are just wanting to know what the proper "ettique" is for geocoins. I have found two that were actual coins and one i moved along, however the next person that found the cache did not state whether there was a coin there or not..another time i found a cache with lots of travel bugs/coins and some were paper copies.. is this something people do to avoid theft? one actually had a note on it about it being a copy due to high theft of coins. just kinda wondering what the view on it was. i have several coins that im trying to move along as well as my first hide with a coin.. ihate to see my coin just get wasted but i wanted to know how many were like me and really just liked finding the actual COIN? discuss

I have a 4gb card in the 60csx and want to know if I can download the entire maps or do i half to download only parts at the time. Also if I can how do I do it. Please help !!!

thanks so much for the advice.. did go out today and found our first!!! guess i just got get my feet a little wetter!

yesterday we went out caching.. and i downloaded some of the caches to our gps.. when i brought up the caches.. on the bottom of the information screen were 3 tabs.. found, notes and go to... now for the question.. ive looked and cannot figure out why.. but today when i went out.. those tabs are different.. they now say.. delete, map, go to. how do you mark them as found or add extra notes to the downloaded cache? what have i done to change these tabs? im sorry for im sure what are easy questions.. but hey.. im new and excited to get going!

we just heard about geocaching and thought it would be fun thing to do .. so we got a Garmin GPS 60CSX.. once we did a little reading we "think" we know how to use it.. we went out tonight and of course didnt find anything.. but we will keep on.. couple questions: any advice on using the compass? our would keep changing positions.. we would think we were close then it would change direction... any advice or helpful hint are appreciated!!!
