  1. Thanks John and Hazel for that. I didnt realise that was possible. I tried it but regret that I couldnt follow the language. Remember that I have only just started with html. Thanks anyway. Cheers
  2. Yes I know about Stueys maze and in fact that was what gave me the idea. Unfortunately cant get in touch with him till the weekend and had hoped to have this sorted by then.
  3. A month or so ago, I posted a request for help on how to make my cache pages look more interesting to view. Someone suggested ww.w3schools.com which was just what I needed. I have now designed my next cache page of which I am very proud BUT I still need a bit of help on a couple of specific points and I thought that this would be the best place to come. My new cachepage uses a table/grid which also has different colours ( believe me , it isnt as complicated as it sounds but it is essential.) My specific questions are. 1) This design looks fine on my 'notepad' web page but when I try to put it into my new cache page, the size of the table grid is reduced and however much I increase my ( =font-size:200%"> ) it makes no difference to the image that appears on the preview of the cache page. Does Geocache.com automatically reduce everything or have a maximum? If so how do I get it increased? question 2) Apart from the size, which I would like to increase for clarity, the preview cache page looks great on sceen with the coloured grid in place but when I go to either the 'print friendly version' or my 'print preview', it all changes and when I do print it out, I lose all the colours. Why? and what do I need to do to correct this.( I can print out other geocache pages in colour without problem) Finally 3) What is the html language for a 'tab' as I would like to place my table/grid in the centre of the page. Can anyone out there help with any or all of the above---please. I need your answer in reasonably plain english that a webpage illiterate might understand. Many thanks..........
  4. Well Done Terry When we met you last week , I didnt realise that you were so close to the milestone. It looks as if you had a busy weekeend too. Cheers.......John & Di
  5. We had a few days in London a couple of months ago and by using the print out of 35 caches as our Guide Book had a brilliant time and found some wonderful places that we wouldnt normally have seen. Having said that, most of the caches in the centre were 'virtuals' and those that werent were micros. I think that we only found one regular cache in the three days. Rather than celebrate your 100th in London, why not have a drive out into the countryside or down here to the south west where there are lots of wonderful caches that I could recommend for your centenary. We reached our 100 earlier this month on a great 4 cache series about Lawrence of Arabia just west of Poole. Whatever you choose to do, if you arent already a Premier member, why not celebrate your 100th by coughing up your £17 (30$) to support this great hobby of ours? Just a thought, cheers............
  6. I have just noticed a problem too. I had a new hunt archived and have recently been working on it. I was now ready to make the final amendment prior to release the revised version but cant get back into it and keep getting a loooonnnggggg error message. Anyone know whats going wrong?
  7. In my weekly newsletter last Friday was a note about an edition of Law and Order to be screened on May 8th. The 'murder mystery' has geocaching as its main theme. I have just looked at the progs for next Sunday and can't find any reference to this. Is it a regional showing that we can't get downhere in the south west? Anyone else found it?
  8. Thanks for your information--just what I needed. I shall give it a try later. Cheers........
  9. Hi to you experienced ones out there We have set 5 caches so far and are now looking to improve our presentation. We have found out how to get new paragraphs and bold and recently, even insets. Now, we would love to be able to upload images and diagrams from our computer into a new cache sheet. Can anyone explain how to do this IN BASIC LAYMAN'S LANGUAGE. Cheers.......
