Likewise with me, I haven't been able to view my Profile either.

Same here in Austria !! I've been trying to connect to geocaching.com for 5 minutes, can't connect.

I believe the smilies in a round circle are premium member only caches, and the one in a square are regular member caches

When I hold down the ctrl key and press the + key it only zooms the screen in, making the cache symbols larger, but also cutting down considerably on the area shown on the map. I tried opening a second window with Google maps in it, and tried to duplicate the same map area displayed on Beta maps. The Google maps image is the same as it ever was, but the Beta view still has very small font for all the street names. I sent a request in to the help desk, two days ago, but haven't gotten a reply yet. I also tried logging in to Geocaching.com using a different computer, but the results are the same, all the legend shown on the map is in very small font. This rules out a browser problem I think.

On Aug 17 I noticed a change in the way Beta Maps displays. Before this date when looking at a map view the street names and the streets themselves were much larger. Now the font for the street names is so small that they are almost impossible to read. The streets are likewise very small, and zooming in doesn't help, because even though the map zooms in, the font, and street lines remain tiny. When I switch back to the original maps, the font and streets are like they always were. I wonder if any one else has experienced this?
