It's a little thing to have happen, but my travel bug more cowbell popped back into circulation after a 9 month vacation. It's actually the second time now that it disappeared from the radar and come back from the dead. I honestly didn't expect to see it again and it made my day to get the automatic notification that it had been placed in a new cache. What's the longest a bug went missing and came back? I know 9 months can't even be close. Anybody else had similar reunions? EZ

After seeing so many sad stories about lost travel bugs, and up until this week having both of my beloved bugs disappear from the face of the earth, I was totally psyched to see in my mailbox a couple weeks ago that: "Location: Texas, United States HalDodd placed more cowbell (Travel Bug Dog Tag) in Room for one more at 12/10/2005" :D The reason I was so surprised is that "More Cowbell" had been taken from a cache on Februrary 7th! 10 months!!!! While I'm not very happy that it was "in transit" for so long (I'd written it off months ago) I'm grateful that the holder found it in his heart to put it back in circulation. 10 months... That makes me wonder -- what's the longest a bug has gone missing and yet still found it's way back to a cache? Keep hope alive for all of the missing... EZ
