  1. I would love one too if im not too late... i just saw this post
  2. Haven't gotten a hold of them yet, I left them a note on facebook. Still, I would like to be able get that type of results on my own if I can.
  3. that would work if I was looking for my own stats but I'm looking for statewide stats. I haven't found caches in the entire state(yet) The link at the beginning of the post is what I'm looking for.
  4. I was kind of thinking of GSAK too but that would be an awful lot of PQ's to cover the entire state. Then to find the right macro's to pull up that information.....hmmmm
  5. this is a link to an example of what I'm looking for . I'd like to be able to run this data myself if I can. My link
  6. does anyone know how I can generate statewide stats or where I can go and find them?
  7. This cache was mentioned on the Podcacher podcast this past week. I'd love to find something like this when picking up a lampskirt!
  8. Well, like most people here, I've had this handle for many years now and have used it for multiple email addresses, WoW, and a few other websites. I had just gotten a new computer at the end of `99 and I was trying to come up with a unique name for AOL. I had an old paperback copy of the Empire Strikes Back that I had since I was a kid sitting on the shelf above the desk. I recalled a scene from the movie where Luke is laying in medical when Han walks in and says "well kid, you look strong enough to tear the ears off a gundark". Well of course, gundark by it self was already taken so, being that it was almost the year 2000, I added that to the end. My avitar is one representation of a gundark from the website "wookiepedia", and if you'd like to find out what exactly a gundark's supposed to be, you can go to wookiepedia and look it up.
  9. Thats good to know. I've heard of these other podcasts but just haven't gotten around to checking them out yet. Right now I'm listening to Podcacher's archive shows while I'm at work. When I finish with those I'm only gonna have the weekly shows so I'm gonna need some other podcasts to fill the gap.
  10. Hey gang, I've been listening to the Podcacher podcast for the last 3 or 4 months now. I've heard some great stories and have gotten some good ideas for hides that I've put out recently. I've got to thinking, there are hundreds, if not thousands of podcasts out there, some of them are cache related and I was wondering, what podcasts do YOU listen to?
  11. Dude!! Don't you know that revealing that info to any non premium member is punishable by death?(or at least having your GPS permanantly jammed) lol!
  12. Mine is of a Gundark which I found in Wookiepedia
  13. what about personal bugs like the window decals and stickers that you put on your car, is there anything wrong with letting it "visit" your own cache or others that you have already found?
  14. Heck, I wish I was driving what you have! I'm on a tight budget myself, my daily driver's a classic `77 Ford F-100 pick-up: 19 gal. tank, 13 mpg avr. job's 11 miles each way so I have to fill up once a week just to be able to get to and from work. And NO, selling it is NOT an option! My dad bought it in`84 and handed it down to me 2 years ago. What I DO need is to sell my other car nd get something more fuel efficient. Just don't have the time right now to fix it before I can put it up for sale.
  15. You know you're a geocacher when: you watch TV and every time you see somethng like a tunnel, a bridge, THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN! , you think to yourself " I'll bet there's a cache there"....and go and look it up!!
  16. THAT'S THE BIGGEST DANG BISON TUBE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!!!!
  17. Call ME clueless now...how does a "reverse geocache" work?
  18. I've found melting candy in one and busted electronic components in a few others.
