  1. This is really GREAT news, but I am sorry to say I will be out of town. I would like to know how/where to keep appraised of upcoming events. Marylandgeocacher P.M. Harmony No. 17, F.A.A.M., Waashington, DC
  2. Just outside of Washington, Dc, in Silver Spring Maryland the U.S. Army has an annex for the Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital. This area is quite old with buildings that appear nothing less than enchanted. There is a very nice cahe there that was visitied by the Geocache Fairy sometime yesterday. See the Enchanted Glen - GCGHCF. I have been watching for one of those speical coins and I saw the log last evening. Here's my post from this morning: Up at the crack of dawn, I surreptitiously made my way around the construction and all those peering eyes. Took a different, more difficult way in to avoid my final objective's location from being easily detected. The bottom of the chamber was guarded by six deer who quickly gave me room to go up. Thanks Gecoin Fairy, and yes, I did trade equal or better, I left one of my personal geocoins coins in trade. I even remembered to include the activation code! But I am not obsessed! Thanks Geocoin Fairy - I do beleive!
  3. Mine arrived Monday afternoon, 31 Jul 06.
  4. All coins ordered have been shipped. I still have some available.
  5. Not a problem Russ. I have been sending the activation codes by e-mail as soon as I receive payment and the coins are prepared for shipment. Easier on the buyer than directing them to a website, etc. Hope you enjoy the coin. Irv.
  6. Russ: Please check your incoming e-mails on 3 July. Irv.
  7. Activate on Geocaching.com - Track a Travel bug - then upper right hand window has a smaller tab window "Activate Your Travel Bug." Do you like the coin?
  8. I agree TMOCM, but I am not sure how to do that.
  9. I have an interest in Military Challenge coins and was impressed by the quality, workmanship and price of coins made by coinforce.com. I think they did a superb job on one of their first geocoins. BTW, all coins ordered to date are in the mail.
  10. I am not sure of the size. But there are many sources on e-bay for different devices to hold/show a casino chip. If your coin is the size of a casino chip you might try e-bay. There is also the chance those vendors have the bezels in different sizes, a personal communication to one of them might solve your problem.
  11. All coins ordered to date are in the mail. Many thanks to those who ordered. I still have some left!

  14. I am new at the paperless caching side of things. I have all the pieces working but one, and I go directly from a Personal Query (GPX) through the cachemate converter to the PDA, using cachemate of course. Everything works fine but for one small glitch, I can only get one past log to load into the PDA. I have all the right boxes checked (I think) and have tried downloading 4, 5 and 6 past logs, but no matter what - only one log apears. Any ideas?
