  1. Sad reflection of the world we now live in im afraid
  2. Do as you bloody well like !!!!!!!! Tbs are meant to travel
  3. You have done the correct things....If the owner cant help himself / herself then the answer is simple.........feck em !!!!!
  4. Do it ! I use a yellow etrex and an old palm M130 i bought cheaply from Ebay... was unsure at first but now its becoming easier...It will feel strange at first not having to drag a wad of paper around with you. Its great being able to check for further caches etc in your area whilst out in the field etc etc.
  5. I got a yellow from ebay the other week for £60, Brand new , Insured n delivered within 36 hours. My usual gpsr ? Another yellow.....Great little workhorse
  6. I dont think having to pay will make one scrap of difference to cache safety, Caches will be muggled regardless. Most caches are so obvious after a while in any case. Trampled superhighways and neat piles of firewood etc are hardly going to preserve a cache forever. There seem to be people EVERYWHERE this days on this crowded isle, Hasn't anyone else noticed it ?. Its just a law of averages i guess n caches will suffer eventually. On the subject of paying i will say this..I personally pay because £17 a year is nothing for a years enjoyment, Plus now ive gone paperless the added tools are very useful. People whinge when the server creaks and groans, Myself included, Perhaps if membership fees were obligatory then maybe the servers would be upgraded ! we must all agree they need a kick in the nuts from time to time ! hehe
  7. Ahhhh i have the answer !!!!!!!!! Geo-Woofing
  8. Makes note.........ALWAYS use rubber gloves opening watrerproof cache boxes in future.
  9. Geo dogging ? Watch out , Stan Collymore might turn up
  10. Totally agree with the above, the book counts first,Online second
  11. 2 Tbs for a month !!!!!!!!!! You should be flogged in the town square hehehe
  12. Is it really worth it ? surely 'FTF' is not that valuable. Nice to find a fresh cache it has to be said but not enough to cheat.
  13. My point was this..You obviously got miffed enough to vent your spleen on the forum. You wanted agreement and support ,Something that was freely given by all it seems , myself included .But you failed to name the cacher concerned. How can we improve the situation if only half the information is given ? . Obviously the cacher concerned will know he / shes being referred to , Surely they should be given the right to reply ? . Only fair in my view.
  14. No dig intended at you bb third-degree-witch
  15. Glad it resurfaced. Annoying when a tb takes an unwanted stop isn't it
  16. Great to see someone else getting hammered for a change . Isn't everyone taking this all a little seriously ? .Surely if someone wants to claim finding a little plastic / metal box first without actually finding it then whooppy feckin doo ! . I like to get to a cache soon after its hidden, purely so that i dont have to follow the geocachers 'superhighway' straight to cache. If indeed this is such a serious 'crime' then surely its best to name and shame instead of bleating about it from behind a keyboard. bb Third-Degree-Witch
  17. Having done a fair chunk of the Ridgeway Walk series i would say the 'Power Trail' idea works ok..I walk the Ridgeway often so get a double bonus .Are there to be any more to continue along the trail from the Chinnor end ??????
  18. We pulled a lighter out of 'Butterfield green' GCH2TX on the 12th of may. removed and safely disposed of.

  23. ahhh it also seems im allowed to air my opinion eithier...this is exactly what im getting at.. From : <%%%%%%@******.****.com> Sent : Friday, May 13, 2005 2:34 AM To : <mk1spitfire@hotmail.com> Subject : [GEO] -%%%%%%- contacting you from Geocaching.com --This message was sent through the Geocaching.com web site-- Well you have certainly removed enough of your own caches, so why not start on other peoples! As I recall nobody appointed you an arbiter in these matters, and neitehr will they! this is an EXACT copy of the email...ive added the ****'s. ohhh dear ive touched on someones sensitivities, that is a shame is it not. Edit: %%%%% added by Lactodorum to prevent inadvertant personal attacks. Otherwise the note's fine.
